Haven't had that in a while but I really like that one.

I find it drier than usual, still good though.

First time with this one. All the reviews said heavy coffee but I barely got coffee. Lots of vanilla and sweetness. I like it.

After a day of gardening (or 'yard work' as you fellows call it) I'm having a well earned rest and a beer or three.

There’s a line there somewhere, but for some reason it escapes me. ?

Ayinger Marzen (lost the label to the cooler).  Truly one of the great beers.  The definition of quaffable.

When I was working in Atlanta back in 2016, Creature Comforts was a go-to.  You can really put away the sours in that heat, and Athena was as good as it gets,  I came back with a coolerful of their beer.  Miss it.

Hate it when a race ends on yellow but boy did it sound good to hear those engines.

Like, oh crap look what I found in the back of the beer fridge...TComp  gave me some of this Half Acre Double Daisy Cutter a couple of years ago.  Enjoyed the first ones, and set one back to savor later.  Apparently, I never completely make it to the rear of the fridge...until today...?

Well, just wrapped the ribs on the smoker, and figured I’d settle in for a wait with it.  I can’t remember if I noted a star anise hint to this before, but it is there with thickness over the palate.

I finally found some of the Abita beers here and trying this one out.  It is well balanced and very good.

Has that Hopslam been around awhile? I seem to remember it usually gets released around the first of the year. Although I like to age it a bit to tone down the hops and push the honey more forward.
