The candles smell good but I love the nose on W12. Tabacco and old leather.

I realize Blanton's isn't everybody's favorite, and being a Single Barrel offering, a variation in the expected profile can happen; but, burning it off as an "alcohol lamp" is just being mean to the brand IMO.   

Of course, being your own whiskey (I'm jumping to that conclusion, I know) you are certainly within your rights to do so at your pleasure.   It's just that it's become so hard to source in many, many areas that I fear some may hate upon you for this display of disdain.   ...Just sayin'....

That bottle has been bourbon free for 6ish years. It's been refilled with citronella multiple times. The size and look of the bottle is perfect for it. That's the reason for that photo. 

I'd be a complete asshole to burn a $65 bottle of bourbon, and that I am not (IMO).

I was just messin' with ya', JC.      I was pretty sure there wasn't any Blanton's in that 'lamp'.       I agree about only assholish folx, with no sense whatsoever, using Blanton's in such a way.    That would be an extremely over-priced oil lamp, eh?
