Couple of on-premise bottle kills courtesy of my all-time favorite bartender to kick off TOTC... these pours only get better with conversation.

Tasting notes please! I assume the Tennessee is from the Popcorn Sutton facility?

An interesting array of pours, that Old Charter Oak looks like a indie single malt from a refill bourbon cask.

With all the talk of fridges and freezers, and the current heat in the Hudson Valley, I stuck a bottle of JBDC  in the freezer. It's tasting better and better as it warms up.

Man down, man up!

This may be the first time I’ve cracked a new Batch of ECBP right as I empty the prior bottle. Curious to see how much batch variation I think there is.

B519>A119.  Both good, but the B batch has all the oaky caramel flavors and a soft finish. Really enjoying this “low Proof” batch.

Yes, Allisa Henley moderated the session— the TN product was Popcorn Sutton.

Sorry, no tasting notes— long story.

Back at the hotel bar— no bottle kills today, but maybe by checkout. Yesterday’s 20 smokes this 23, not even close.

The 20 always was (to my taste buddies) a fair bit better than the 23.   That WLW is a good 'un, too, eh?

Shame about that selection of glassware in which to pour a fine dram of Bourbon to be sipped neat, though.

At a couple of establishments last night.  First one was a pour of Old Ezra BP.  Second one was a pour of HH BIB.  They don't even have it on their bourbon list anymore but the bar manager told me she has three bottles left.  Saw it behind the bar and had a nice healthy pour, for $5.

Last night I cracked a LBS 4R SB  pick. Not sure when i bought it, its a few years old and from the JR era and the first pour was fantastic. I am going to enjoy evey drop of this one as it is quite a bit better than the good but not great 4RSB it replaces which was another store pick of the OBSV 100p variety.

No, probably not.

But I could really go for some hanging out in Belgium drinking WLW with you this week.  It's been a real crapper at work.
