Kane
Plenty of stuff to post all over SB today. In the bourbon department got a private pick Larceny and a BP. Don’t forget the Mellow Corn!

That is a good price. I picked one up at a VA ABC store, a couple of weeks ago, for $39.99. They had 5-6 bottles on the shelf. I really like the 101. It's right up there with the CS, and much better than the 46. I probably should've bought more, but I'm running out of room!

The camaro show
Can’t believe I found this today! I know for some your Buffalo trace and Sazerac sits on the shelf but around here it’s like gold. We never get it and never ever get anything really good. Main hunt is still for Eagle rare but this is a score for me.
Adam777
Picked up a handle of WT101 for $36 and EC on sale for $21. EC not my favorite at $30+ but at $21 the “father of bourbon” is a legit daily. All prices OTD thank goodness for the coast guard exchange bc I’m broke after Christmas!

JakeySnakes
This has all but disappeared near me over the past few years, like most areas. Allocated, secondary prices, just not worth seeking out. By chance stopped in a little store that never really has anything, and 3 of these were on the shelf at a very good price, not the ~$32 I used to pay, but close enough to bring one home with me. I find it somewhat interesting these bottles are from 2018. Hopefully good karma leaving the other 2 for other people.

I've seen it as low as $27 on sale.

Joe Well...dang! Way to make me feel bad, folks! There's no way you live in the Socialist Republic of Maryland, with those prices. The Corryvreckan is ~ $120.00. In saw, (and I shit you not), a bottle of MM101 for $63.00 The distributorship system is criminal.
fishnbowljoe
Shopping day today, and y’all know what that means. The difference today is that I was actually looking for a couple of specific bottles. My son and dil gave me a “Do Your Whisky “ kit for Xmas, so I figured I’d give it a try. I needed a bottle to use with this, and I thought Mellow Corn might fit the bill. Hey, I can take a chance for $14.99. The other bottle I needed was a Crown Royal Apple. I have a friend/former co-worker that really likes it. Long story short, he helped me out with a lot of things when I injured my shoulder at work and needed surgery. He is having spinal fusion (neck) surgery this Friday. The very least I can do is gift him a bottle of his favorite. Sometimes payback is a good thing. Biba! I thought I was the only person with one of those kits. I should probably get that out one of these days. Hey @Clueby, give me that white dawg back.

Bob_Loblaw
Not a purchase, but a rare trade for me. Had to part with a much loved RHF which wasn’t very easy. That said I’m really pleased to have a backup Decades as its my absolute favorite of the Masters Keep line and in the running for my favorite WT ever (LE). Unfortunately not drinking tonight, but tomorrow I plan on celebrating the pickup with a nice pour from my open bottle. RHF is hard to find, I get it, but you can drink some of the others with the same mashbill. I found the decades to be so unique and not easy to duplicate with other pours. Well done!
ThomasGazelle
Nothing out of the ordinary, though i have not tried the revamped 1783 yet, but OTD for $41.03 isn’t too shabby.

apt43bear
Today’s haul. Looking forward to trying the Bardstown Discovery 6… I enjoyed the 4, was ehhh on the 5 but heard the 6 improved upon the 5. Also looking forward to MM FAE-02 and comparing to FAE-01. I always keep telling myself that this will be the last Bookers due to the price increases so hopefully this will be my last…. Still don’t know why I get FOMO when I see it for retail price and not marked up.
