Picked up a 12 pack of this for a family member that hasn't gotten it in his state yet.  The store also sold singles so I bought a bottle for myself.  It's really refreshing without being over the top. Not earth shattering or anything but it might end up being my summer 2022 beer of choice. I'll buy more.

Yesterday we were walking around downtown Bellefontaine and decided to stop at a place and have a drink. I spied Wiedemann's on the draft menu. Yes please!! I'm a sucker for old time Cincinnati brews.

Very good family friends of ours (now passed) used to live in Bellefontaine.  Nice little town, but nobody can pronounce it correctly!  😂

West Coast to East Coast. Long day of travel. I’m the family pack mule. Sam Adams Summer Ale. Wheat ales aren’t generally my thing. I’m sure circumstances are making this more enjoyable.

Nice little hazy to wash down some broiled Haddock. I can get used to this East Coast stuff!

Alaskan Kolsch while watching baseball.  I think the last time I drank this was on an Alaskan cruise years ago.  It tastes ok, nothing special.  I'm glad I bought a six pack to try it again, but I probably won't necessarily be buying it again anytime soon.

I've had some Alaskan beers before that were very good and enjoyable. I agree with you though that they are nothing special and given how many incredible local breweries we have I haven't bought anything from them in a very long time.

Yup.  I like some of them a lot more than this Kolsch.  I like the Amber quite a bit and as I remember I enjoyed the Alaskan White too when I had it.  This Kolsch is a bit blah though.  If anything maybe this says more about the state of beer here than anything:  so many great choices, if you are not getting better, you are falling behind.

End of the quarter. End of the month. Feels like the weekend. Holiday looming. Time to let loose.

It makes me feel very American to drink a Bud from a Solo cup on July 4th.  😁

Vienna Lager by Devil's Backbone, Lexington, Virginia, 5.2% ABV.  Anheuser-Busch bought DB in 2016, but best as I can tell, A-B has left DB alone to make beer the way they always have.  Is my last one.  Tomorrow, I get more.  Hot weather coming up, and fridge space for a 750ml is at a premium - sorry 4R YL.  You have to wait your turn.

Small town in California wine country. Thursday night band in the town square. Excellent time. Started the night with some W12 and hazelnut liqueur. If that’s how the bar serves their Weller how can I judge? It was enjoyable. I didn’t take a pic because I didn’t want my guests to know I snap photos of my drinks.

Firestone and J Lohr were the hosts of the concert. I went with the hops. Cornbread underneath.

Great Beer from a small brewery from Frankonia, I think near Bamberg. Almost like a Guinness, they too call it Stout but its not that thick, but very malty and totally drinkable.

I really love the new (not so new anymore) stadium but it's just too damn hot for me to go to a game right now. I salute your dedication.

I pick up a six pack of these about once per year.  I just get a hankerin’ for them.  It’s a lightly blueberry flavored wheat ale.  The blueberry is not overdone, and complements the base brew very nicely.  Very refreshing in Summer.

Nice Emmer Beer from Riedenburger. Emmer is an old grain and rarely used in brewing nowadays, at least in Germany. Earthy, wheathy kinda taste. Good!

Relaxing in the backyard after running through the mtn’s. Made a new buddy on the fire road. Glad it wasn’t on an 24” trail. He was chill only a few flicks of the tongue. I turbo’d on by giving a wide berth! 😀

Its getting hot in the Reich, so I opened a cold framboise from Lindemanns. A nice sour, slightly sweet beer perfect for the weather condition.
