OGD BIB at my bowling banquet. The first time I have seen it in the wild in Ohio other than on the shelf at the liquor store.

Slugging some PHC cask strength. This stuff was placed on the bar in the right place, right next to the Stagg and WLW.

I have been fortunate enough tonight to enjoy some of Erich's juice. ELT 107, Medley, WT old # 8 from 93 (one of my fav bourbons), Old fitz and a couple others. As always a pleasure.

I am really glad I cracked that ETL 107. Sheesh! Now that it has had some time to open up it definitely has some connections to the current ETL label, but they are... faint. The whiskey in this bottle is raw, intense- strong and enjoyable stuff. The brandy/wine/grape notes that people pick up in ETL 90 are definitely here, but intensely magnified. the rye is prominent. I'm going to let it open up some more and see what else comes around, but right now it's highly enjoyable and delicious juice.

Celebrated Friday with the neighbors and finished off a bottle of WTKS. Great way to spend a perfect Spring evening.

Backpacking through Red River Gorge, sipping on some WSR. It's no trip to TX, but still enjoyable.

Like so many others no trip to Texas (the third largest state) but instead I am in Williams, AZ (for 2 days then headin' for the Grand Canyon on monday) sipping on FR Yellow Label, and on to FRSB Binny's OESK, and finishing with FR Maraige 09.

Enjoyed some PS-selected EC18 SB while watching the races. Won on all four races I bet, including my $5 across on Lookin for Lucky in the Preakness.

I didn't fair so well. My mythical $20 bet [3 horses 5 ways] returned me $9.20, I had $4 on Looking At Lucky to place.

But I did great on this thread's question yesterday, here's the line up.

WTKS 2002 & '04

OGD 114 current and ND

GTS 2008

ER 101

VW Lot B

PHC Golden 50

WLW Centennial Lisa's Liquors

4R Rutledge 40th

4R Binny's OESO

4R 100th

4R1B Thoroughbred Shop

open but didn't get to them;

EC 18yo & WTRB '99,....but that will be taken care of today.

btw I had help from a couple of Cleveland's finest SB.com members, so how was the drive home Scott and Rob?

Thanks to Oscar and Lynn's hospitality we had a great time up north and the ride home was uneventful.

Oscar has one impressive bunker and we didn't even come close to denting it yesterday. :-)

Drive home was good but the hospitality and the tasting were better. What a perfect day to sip some great pours. That OGD ND was some damn tasty stuff. The funny thing was when I tasted it against the current version you could tell the relation was there.

One of the things I confirmed about myself on our visit is that I am an old WTKS whore!

Ohh and I loved the baseball talk too, maybe we could get you up here for a game sometime, I think the Tigers play here occasionally.

Opened my 15 yr Cock of the Walk out of Japan. Could not nail down if it was Pre Fire HH or an Older BF.

In either case it has a unique profile that was fun to sip on at 101. Hotter at 101 than I expected, but enjoyable none the less.

I just cracked open my first bottle of WLW. Delicious! I just had a small drink, looking forward to spending more time with this one.

I got back into a OESO selection from a local store. With a splash of water, the fruit notes really come front.

For $50, I should have grabbed a few of these.
