I really enjoyed it. I think you can still pick one up at the Sherlock's on Roswell in East Cobb over by Joe and I. It's on the top shelf hidden over the brandy and pint bottles. :grin:

I finally got around to trying the second barrel selection of barrel-proof Abraham Bowman rye from the Party Source. Very similar to the first one... in other words, excellent!

As a result of what I could find while on vacation, I've been on a WT kick. Had the WT101 and RR 10/90 while on vacation, and now I'm having a recently purchased WTKS - which I'm enjoying quite a bit.

I want to go get a RB and try to compare them all - I've only had RB at a bar a few months ago, and I can't say much about it since I had it on the rocks (yeah, I know) and it was the bottom of a bottle that looked like it had been opened for awhile (the cork broke off and fell into the bottle - I got the pour on the house as a result). So far, I've liked them all but for different reasons. I'll take a shot at posting some comparative notes in a couple of weeks ... I've got a line on some WT 8 y/o, perhaps I'll add that to the line-up if I can still get it.

I got a little hint from a PM just a few minutes ago so I am sipping on some Old Weller Antique Cork 'N Bottle selection Barrel #52, neat.

It's like camel/vanilla fudge, not as balanced or as complex/multi-layered as Barrel #49 but tastier than #50 which was to smooth.

And I think smooth equals lack of taste.

Doing a side by side of Bulleit Rye vs Bulleit Bourbon just for kicks.

The rye is really growing on me. Makes me want to open another rye. The new Jefferson's maybe? The more rye I drink, the more I like it.

Oh! And my local watering hole Whiskey Cake has a private bottling of Eagle Rare that is absolutely fantastic. I never knew bourbon could taste so good at 90*
