Passed on 20 or so DSP-414 Bonded Old Forester in every bottle size except handles, too many to count ND Old Grand Dad in both 86 proof and Bonded, a case or two of Wild Turkey 8 year, And about 5 or 6 cases of the famous Four Roses Blended Whiskey.. I swear after the apocalypse, the cockroaches will be drinking that stuff

I have enough ND OGD to last a very long time.. I saw a few 500's of 8 yr WT that I might pickup to give it a try..

Willett 18 year just can't justify $160 on an unknown

If it's a wheater, it could be a gem. Understand the pass w/o a taste.

I might stop back and ask as the store selected the barrel

Passed up, after careful consideration, a High West 21yr Rocky Mtn Rye.

In full disclosure, I have passed on it several times myself but I did get a chance to taste it at a TPS tasting that HW hosted. It was fantastic. It is a on time only Barton rye. If you don't want the full 750 because of cost I believe TPS still has some 375's left. I will kick myself when it is gone.

Finally saw the BTEC Large French Oak Barrels, but stupidly passed on them as I thought the store price of $61 per bottle was too expensive. (Most other places are selling BTECs at $60).

Got an e-mail from TPS on the 2012 BTAC. $69.99 each. If you wanted a Stagg you had to buy one Stagg and one other bottle from the collection. Considered a Stagg and Weller, but I sneezed and all the Weller was gone. Passed on the Stagg.

I ordered just one Stagg from there. The email was a little confusing but I was under the impression you could buy one Stagg and one other bottle, or just one BTAC bottle. (So you could do Stagg + WLW but not Saz + WLW). My order is processing so I hope just one Stagg will go through.

I was confused. You're right. Here's the relevant text...

- A BTAC order may consist of ONE bottle of George T. Stagg, plus your choice of ONE additional BTAC bottle, while supplies last.

- If you do not want any Stagg, you are not required to buy it— however you may still buy only ONE other BTAC bottle of your choice.

- We cannot sell two bottles of the same whiskey, under any circumstances.

I'm still confused by it hah. Guess I'll just have to wait and see if it processes, says it's still under review. By the time I got on everything was sold out except for 50 bottles of Stagg.
