I had two commendable ones that did well while they were here.

Saying goodbye to a Ritt BiB. An easy enough and always sure replacement.

Another goodbye to a FRSmB, a staple here.

Bowman Special Edition. Kicking myself for not buying more than one when they first showed up around here. Though with a 73.5% ABV it certainly lasted.

A current OGD BiB and a FR yeller label hit the bin last night with the help of a couple of neighbors.

Operation Kill The Partials marches onward.

Polished off an Ezra B 12 yo last night. Sad, but I've got more in the bunker.

I am sad every time I empty a bottle. Then I realize that emptying a bottle always leads to opening another.

One door closes, another opens, so long as we have a stash there is promise for the future.

CEHT BP. Not really going to miss this one. Took a while to get through this bottle and I'm happy to have a little more shelf space to add a new bottle.

Balcones True Blue and ORVW 10/107 tonight. Both delicious in their own ways. Went through the Balcones in about two weeks....

High West Son of Bourye. Haven't killed a bottle recently with so many open right now, this is the oldest and first to go.

Lots of odds and ends in the cabinet with just a pour or two left in them, so I set about cleaning them out to make way for new stuff and many hit the bin in the last week: OGD114, FR1B, Dixie Dew and Virginia Gentleman 90. Sorry to see that last one go until I happily discovered that I had one more bottle stashed away in a box I'd long forgotten about.

A few more have dropped by the wayside this past month.

Larceny

BT

HH 6 yr old White Label BIB

JW Dant BIB-(200 ml)

EH Taylor Small Batch BIB

ER 101

I'm down to eight bourbons, and a JDSS open. Only two or three of those bottles will be finished any time soon. Where to go next? Decisions, decisions.

Cheers! Joe

Brought a few bottles to a party and left with much less than I arrived with. Opened bottles of ETL, OWA, Weller 12 and Rittenhouse BIB met the end of the road in the process of making manhattans and old fashioneds. Also emptied my jar of Luxardo maraschinos, gotta get more.

This sounds like some grotesque version of many commencement speeches I've heard in the last two weeks.

Finishing off a bottle of WSRThe bottom of these wheaters is always the best, in my humble opinion.

My last bottle of Bourye just hit the bin. I'm really going to miss this one...certainly greater than the sum of its parts.
