Might've had a little too much of the aforementioned cider/EWBIB blend last night, feeling a little foggy today.

Solution: Dash of EWBIB into the coffee.

Enjoying some Angel's Envy, which I'm really liking. The port barrel finish is noticeable but integrates perfectly into the entire product. Hadn't been on my radar screen for whatever reason but may now have to be part of my rotation.

Cracked a bottle of Old Pogue. Initial impression isn't bad, just nothing to get excited about. Might be the first time my main impression of a bourbon is "bland".

Barton BIB...powering on through and tasting its always delightful self in spite of the assertive spices accompanying my delicious dinner of braised Lamb Shank with Rosa Marina pasta and a side of Skordalia (crushed garlic emulsified with olive oil, egg and potato).

Some ECBP 134.2 just a cinnamon, clove and oak infused delight, loads of sweetness and a nice balance of char, quite decadent.

Finally finishing off the last dwindling pour of a JPS17 batch 3 that's been open a loooooong time. Still great.

I thought that I would have just a relaxing pour of ECBP/EC12 while watching the Broncos-Cowboys game. However, I just poured a small pour of FRSB.

After having some rye this afternoon, I've moved on to some FRSmB LE 2012. I'm really picking up some of the K yeast tonight, pretty spicy and very good!

Enjoying PHC PoH again. This one is subtle but really growing on me. There is a fair amount to explore and I am enjoying the exploration.

I was across the bourbon board tonight (lots of different bourbons). Bookers '06 7y 1m, Weller 12y, Ezera Brooks 101, B & E, EC18, EC21, Jeff10 Rye, and Michter's 10y. I'm going to bed now.

i know the purists will bash us for it, but ive eyed that as well. bourbon, fall, and apples were just made to go together

Any ideas what the proportions might be? I just happen to have some hard cider sitting around.

50/50 with 120 proof KC didnt work too well, ill tell you that. i like my cider hot too though (with temp), so that may factor into it. next time, ill start 90/10 and go from there

Tried 1oz AAA10yr + 12oz Crispin Hard Cider and it was "ok" - may try a sweeter Cider next time to get more of that "Apple Pie" thing

Had a pour of EC12, ETL, AE, and finishing with a couple of pours of SB blend of W12:OWA at ratio of 2:1 and i'm liking this ratio the most at the moment. So tasty!!!
