Passed on a Parker's Heritage Promise of Hope at $129.99 and didn't even ask about the EC 21 once I heard the PHC price.

Passed on some Bowman Last Millennium. Price was fine, I just may have a bottle elsewhere to pick up.

EC21 for $132. But when I told my wife, she didn't seem shocked. So I may go back.

When my wife just rolls her eyes I'm in the clear, so you're probably fine.

I left 4 2013 Staggs ($99 each) and 1 2013 WLW ($90) on the shelf, I only bought 2 of each for myself. However, I'm back down by the store again today so if they are still there...

Crap, if they are still there I may have to get one more stagg, then I have no idea how I'm going to fit 8 full size and 4 200ml bottles in my checked bag.

My goodness, what land of milk and honey are you traveling in! Time to think about buying a new suitcase at the local target.....

Well, it was probably just a fluke, I went back yesterday to rectify my mistake and pick up the rest of the bottles for some friends and they were all gone... oh well. I guess my original thoughts about leaving some for the rest of the world were right, others need a chance to enjoy it to. Still, I am a little sad :(

Was not me!!, I stopped down there yesterday just to familiarize myself with the store for future considerations and saw the Stagg box on the front shelf, when I asked they said somebody bought all of them the previous night

Ha, I actually thought it may have been you, funny that it was not. They still don't have their winkle in yet though the guy thinks any day. However, he could be lying to me since I don't think he likes me at all.

I'll forever regret not buying all those when I had the chance. I asked the guy what the limit was and his response was "you can buy them all if you want" Sigh... It would have been fun to have come home with 3 WLW and 9 Stagg ;)

As for the topic at hand, I did not pass up anything today since I did not even go to the store, nor do I plan to. There are simply too many temptations and my will is weak.

Passed up a Bowman Gingerbread and High West Campfire

Oh oh, a Bowman Gingerbread. I am sure that several members would love to run across one of those, myself included.

I passed on an OFBB 13 while on the road today. Didn't check the price but I know my primary liquor store has it so I would prefer to buy it there if I buy it.

Yep, I would like to run across a Bowman Gingerbread . I'm pretty sure a couple of other Central KY members would as well.

In the past week, I found '13 Stagg in 4 different stores but passed each time because they were way overpriced (3x$150 and $250). Anyone know if the distributor in North Florida is overcharging or is it a coincidence that 3 unrelated stores are charging the same?

I'd like to get a bottle but I'm not interested in shelling out more than $90. If you have any info on BTAC in north FL, I'd appreciate the tip. Otherwise, I'm fine spending time with the preacher (EC12) and grandpa (OGD).

I may be far, FAR-eastern KY, but put me in that group as well.

Hmm, can't tell if the Bowman Gingerbread comments are sarcasm or not.

I'm 100% serious. I've loved all the Bowmans I've tried.

Passed up this year's Parker Heritage collection today. Just didn't feel like dropping $70 today, might go back later...

No sarcasm here, I would really like to try it. I will try to find a bottle this weekend, if I see some, I will give you guys a text/call.

For $70 I would get that all day.

No sarcasm when I say it is a really fantastic pour.. It beat out a bunch of heavy weights at a tasting I hosted the day a few friends and I hit the distillery

Passed on ORVW10 yesterday and a VW12 today. :/

I'd take the 10 over the 12 all day long. It's much closer to the 15 year profile and a lot cheaper.
