MyOldKyDram
That sounds pretty special. Need to get to Louisville more often.Lets see, over the past week or so I've enjoyed St Bernardus Abt 12, Prairie Hop, W Sixth Christmas, Stillwater Why Can't IBU?, FFF Zombie Dust and Dreadnaught, Lag Little Sumpin Wild, and Green Flash Green Bullet. Good stuff.
MyOldKyDram
Starting off the night w my last Daisy Cutter. Still so fresh and just about as crisp, clean, and refreshing as a pale ale gets. SOS to anyone in Chicago who wants to hook a brotha up.
P&MLiquorsEric
Tried a stone southern charred. I'm still not a fan of bourbon barrel hop centric beers. I would try it again with some age but not recommend right now.
tylermke
Has anyone tried a CC/Terrapin Southern Slice? If so, just curious on your thoughts. I've probably been living under a rock, but I just heard about this one not too long ago. Seems interesting and perhaps something of an after dinner beer. Or one to pair it with a dessert. Sounds yummy!

P&MLiquorsEric
Against the grain 70k. (Bourbon barrel aged imperial milk stout) We have it on tap at the store right now. A growler of this will make me sleep well.
Ravensfire
Just opened a local(ish) beer - Charleville's Box of Chocolate. Perfect for a day of crappy weather.-- Ravensfire
MyOldKyDram
BoCo Backyard Rye. It's jammy and delicious, but I find myself looking for more of the dark and toasty character of the other BCs. Bet this thing ages out a beaut though.

Nor am I with beer in general, which is why I'm just hearing about this in the past week or so.
oke&coke
Decided to crack open a Sierra Nevada Narwhal with my pork chops. Thick and creamy beer with the chocolate and coffee thing going on. Only problem is that it has a great bitterness thing going on that only allows me one before it becomes too much.
smokinjoe
Out front listening to the 49er game on the radio and tinkering around with some Christmas presents with a Half Acre Daisy Cutter. Humdinger of a beer, on a splendid Sunny and comfortably temp'd Sunday afternoon, here Down South.

MyOldKyDram
Lil Dubhe right now. Bitter w a nice mouthfeel. Nothing crazy, but a good balance between stout/IPA. Glad to have these guys in KY finally.

smokinjoe
Mrssmokinjoe, Littlesmokinjoe, and I are spending the afternoon piddlin' around the kitchen, chattin' things up, and generally having a great time, with a little Kasey Chambers and Lana Del Rey music in the background. All of this makes this Deschutes Obsidian Stout taste all the better... Whiskey is on Ready Alert for emergency use, as I'm sure I'll say something to piss them off, and everything goes to hell-in-a-handbasket... bigtoys
also grabbed a 6 pk of Hop Slam. Binnys was limiting you to one case and the cashier kind of teased me for only getting one 6 pk. "It'll be gone tomorrow" she said. I decided to leave it for someone else. 10% alcolhol btw
