nd2005
Let me guess... SFWTC?Sad when stores start gouging...I was in SF for work about two years ago and picked up a bottle of BTAC for suggested retail price from them...
big pete
Let me guess... SFWTC?Ding ding ding. I'm really disappointed that they chose to mark the limited stuff up so much. I wouldn't be so upset if they did 20-50% markup instead of 2-3X CA retail price. I try to spend money there every time I go in since it's near my house. They just lost some of my business
HD 335
Sad when stores start gouging...I was in SF for work about two years ago and picked up a bottle of BTAC for suggested retail price from them...There still are a handful of places that will sell BTAC at retail but it is sad that most will gouge due to the frenzied demand. I can't even blame them for hiking up the price. If the product moves at a higher cost, any smart business is going to think about Jerry McGuire. Not that I think $500+ 2014 BTACs will really sell quickly. Ding ding ding. I'm really disappointed that they chose to mark the limited stuff up so much. They just lost some of my businessI typically shop for their store picks but all my general buys are from another spot. I was hoping to get a BTAC bottle from them this year but after being offered a 2013 THH early in the year for $499 I had a bad feeling. Like you, and probably many others, paying a 20-50% mark up would've been fine. But after seeing almost everything at 100% or more, I was a bit sad. amg
Saw Jeffers Creek for the first time in Indy today. $17.99. Not nearly curious enough to try this one. I guess this store was trying to make sure to be a good Sazerac customer this time of year.

Both cheap and plentiful. That Old Fitz is the bottom of the HH wheated line. IMO stay away. It is dreadful neat. Not even good as a mixer due to the weak proof. Wheated bourbon needs age or proof or both to shine. This has neither age nor proof. And the only thing shiny is the bottle.
