My opens went down to two so opening some stuff from bunker. 

 

2013 M10 is quite good

Opened up a bottle of Old Ezra 101. First time trying it. I bought it after Fighting Cock lost its age statement and just got around to trying it. FC was my favorite sub $20 HH bottle. OE101 works as a reasonable replacement — won't be my last purchase.

Drank through a bottle of Booker's Oven Buster with some friends last week while in Dallas as well as several pours of Makers at the hotel bar. Finally got home and hit some Belle Mead PS BS and then opened a bottle of Blantons tonight.

My current bottle of EC12 has a loose cork so I'm trying to knock it out.   Maybe 20% left but it's slow going.  I have a Dickel cask strength sitting nearby for when I decide to switch things up tonight.  That bottle is half gone and it surprises me how quickly I got there.  I will definitely be buying more of it.

Started the evening by finishing off my bottle of standard 4RSB and have now moved on to SAOS9 SB CS.

Was going to start planting corn today, but a small rain shower popped up.

Tomorrow is 67 and sunny. Should be perfect planting weather!

My wife is cooking Jambalaya with sausage. I'm enjoying a glass of OWA.

Life is Good.

You can't go wrong with Weller!  On the Wathens, definitely has the hint of peanuts. Perfect amount of burn, too.

Sorry to break up the W12 party, I'm enjoying some ER10, I'm awful with tasting notes, but, there is definitely oak and vanilla (reminds me of imitation vanilla extract). Might have some RHF next while watching Moonshiners...it's so bad that it is good.

ER10 is a vanilla bomb on my palate indeed. Makes for a nice after dinner pour for that reason.

Since it was already 5PM on the East coast, I figured it was time for an EC12 here in KS.  I'm still seeing bottles of it in the KC area with dust on the shoulders. and selling at less than $30/750ml.

Someone needs to represent the cult tonight. I'm repeating last night with some 4RSmB to kick it off and it was the best pour of the bottle, which figures because it was the last pour. Followed with some OESK, and it too was the best and last pour of the bottle. (The OESK is just really, really singing tonight.) Good thing I have more bottles from that same barrel.

Raising a glass to Texas on our independence day with some Garrison Bros Cowboy. Not as awful as I remember it, but still not enjoyable. The things I do for Texas.

I'll probably have a pour of WT Diamond Anniversary. I'm really enjoying this one, lots of creme brulee, toasty oak and red delicious apple. A common flavour I get from [younger] bourbons are either apple peels or green apple, but that note in the WTDA is more sweet and ripe like a red one. This is a winner. The proof doesn't bother me although the price was a little high.
