I could post this in 3 threads (what are you drinking, empty bottle support group, and what did you open): polishing off a store select SAOS 9 year, and also opened a new one. I call it bunker clearance.

I opened an ER10.  I've got a few in the bunker and rarely go to the 'Trace MB #1, so what the heck...

I started the night with some SAOS7 with dinner and have moved on to a SAOS10 SB.  Reeeaaaally enjoying the SB 10yo.

Giving the ewsb 2007 a go. Pleasantly surprised. May snag another bottle of this at some point.

A little EC NAS and 4RSmB followed by another Stagg Jr. vatting. My Stagg Jr. batch 2 doesn't take water very well but it does sing with a little ER10 added.

It was an EWBIB (my fave lowcost whisky on the planet!) - OWA-KCSB-ECBP night...????

Yawning my way through another pour from another mediocre SAOS 10 Yr. PS.  I have to have a plan to finish this bottle, so it will be my Tuesday pour from now on.  Boring whiskey for a boring day of the week!

Please send me all of your SAOS10 PS and I'll take care of it for you!  I absolutely love the stuff!

However, this evening I decided to go with some Maw Maw's batch with a large cube on the back deck while dinner is cooking.

I had another good day day work. That makes two in a row to start the week. What's the world coming to?   I was tasked to help with a special project in the morning. Nothing elaborate, but I usually don't get picked for many projects like that. I also received my two week feedback, and I got an atta boy from my supervisor for exceeding rate, or being outstanding in all my job functions the past two weeks. :o Had a pour of HH 6 BIB when I got home from work. I did some chores around the house, ate supper and decided to open a bottle of one of my favorites to celebrate further. Popped the top on a 2007 WLW. Why not?  I deserve it. :P Man I love this bourbon. :P

Cheers! Joe

Oh man, I haven't had one of these in a while.  I might need to hunt down a bottle.  Easily my fave WT variety.

So, after a couple of pours of Maw Maw's, I had a pour of ECNAS, now I'm enjoying my first pour out of my "Last Pours" decanter.  Not surprisingly, the nose on it is pretty familiar, though I can't quite place it.  I actually kinda like it!  Just can't drink too much with the thought that each pour is a whole bottle I have to drink to replace it.

I'm working on a bottle of Tin Cup and watching the girls world series.  The game was more exciting.

haha, just poured the last of my larceny/4rsmb into my decanter.

Before that I had some of my year old sb blend vatting that I haven't touched in ages.

is OWA/W12 any easier to find yet?

I have seen OWA in IL more frequently, but, it is still marked up.  No sign of W12 for about 6 months.

Used to be fairly available here in Texas (at least compared to other places) but not lately. I haven't seen W12 in awhile.

and now a pour of HMcK10 which is absolutely the best HMcK10 I have ever had.  I went back last week to see if I could find more bottles.  There was one left.  The employee at the store was shocked when I told him how I had to dig through the bottles to find the last bottle of this barrel #.   I told him that I was glad they didn't rotate their inventory, as they had just put the new shipment in front of the existing inventory.

I've been meaning to try this. I have a bottle that I've never opened. Would you mind sharing the barrel info on your favorite? I'm in Texas but who knows I might come across one.

Jefferson's from a bottled gifted to me at the 4th annual Hillbilly Cigar Herf in April taste pretty good in an Old Fashioned this afternoon along the Tennessee River.

Took my girls swimming at my parents house.  Dad poured me an EW and diet coke.  Tasted just fine in the FL heat and humidity.

It is Barrel #2151.  It was barreled on 10-6-05.  I am not certain when it was bottled.
