Enjoying a new bottle of KCSB that I brought home tonight.  Man - I forgot how much I enjoy that sweet, sweet 120 proof goodness.  The price has creeped up to $44 ($49 in most places here), but it's still a consistently good pour.

Other SB members have inspired me recently to raid the bunker.  So I opened a bottle of OWA.  I almost opened a 1L bottle, but remembered how hard those were to find (like only in KY).  I opened a regular 750ml and it's nice.  I don't care anything about: VW, CEHT, ER, WSR, or a lot of other stuff.  Could we just get some OWA here in South central Indiana?

Kicked off Wednesday with the last of a sample of WT Master's Keep.  A nice, thinking whiskey (although I'd never shell the dough out for a bottle).  Followed that up with a nice mingle of Lot 40 & Rhetoric (2:1 respectively).

Life has been too busy for spending much time on forums, but I just had a lovely evening watching "The French Connection" (which I haven't seen in years) with some pours I really enjoy:  SAOS 7yr, SAIS 10yr, and OGD 114.  The film goes pretty well with bourbon!

I'd been waiting to dig into some more 4R PS until it was properly spring and today in Chicago sure feels like it...

Having a nice glass of Hancock's Reserve to start the night off. More than likely will move on to some Stagg Jr or ECBP.

A couple of pours out of a freshly opened bottle of MMCS to start the evening, and now some standards SAOS7 to begin winding down the evening.

Um, label says VOB bonded "6".  Sure tastes like VOB bonded 6YR.  Still.  To me.  Downside - how does one stop filling the glass?:(

DON'T answer that.:D

A good and solid evening of drinking some standards. EC12, followed by MMcK 10yr BIB, followed by 4RSB. There's some serious quality in these pours that makes me not pine for the limiteds so much.

Met a friend I hadn't seen in a long time for a few beers then had a 2 oz pour of ORVW for $18. Later at home had some EC12 and the wood flavor really came through, in a good way.

Dry March is officially over. I think I'll get back into it tonight with a RR SB Store Select that is incredible.

Well, I never had my pour(s) of Stagg Jr last night. I ate supper, chatted with my wife a bit and watched a little tv. I started dozing off in the recliner, so I called it a night early and went to bed. I'm making amends today though. After an interminably long week at work, and getting off work late today, Stagg Jr Batch #4 is in the glass. Ahhhhhh. Just what the doctor ordered.

Cheers! Joe

Quite a bit of a freshly opened WT 12 split label thanks to Mr Troyce. As well as a nip of a few other things. Thanks for those Joe.

Whilst apparently watching Henry Danger with my boys, I am joining you with some Stagg Jr. Batch #4 as well, over a few ice cubes.  Stagg Jr. can stand up to the ice goshdarnit.  Great stuff.  Cheers.
