David Nicholson 1843 & Woodford - Brandy Cask.  Was a little worried walking out with the Woodford but it's a damn good pour.   Nice surprise.

Seemed to be sitting for a while. Decide to give it a new home.

You couldn't wait to get home before you started drinking?   I guess a good deal is a reason for immediate celebration!

7-8 year MGP rye at BP is heaven

Seems like a good price.  It's a lot higher here in Texas (if you can even find it).

Never seen the 11 year in the wild around Chicago

I got one 2-3 years ago from Binnys...a Binnys pick 11 year no less - one of my favorite pours. Since then I have seen 100's of 7.9.10 but never 11. Chicago for some reason doesn't seem to get them

Same - there are tons of 7,9,10 around here.  They're so common, I can get them at a lot of grocery stores.  It's weird that the 11 has come to such a huge market

EHT single barrel $36

Wow. That's a pretty good price for the small batch. Single barrel is usually close to double that.

Yeah..the SmB goes for around $35- $40. I got a SiB at $57 and thought I got a bargain. It's usually $70+.

Just picked up an Angels Envy CS 2016, at ABC. Anyone have a review or comment about it?

It is right now. The largest liquor store in okc told me that buffalo trace sold the whole allotment for Oklahoma Arkansas Kansas and I think Tennessee to Japan. Said we won't see any till April. Used to see it every store trip. Eagle rare and Blanton too. I've looked for Elmer t Lee for years but never seen a bottle

I heard something similar years ago in a local twin city liquor store about either Btac or pappy being sent to overseas or sold to bars. But of course it was hogwash as I found plenty that year. Not much lately though. Only found a THH and was gifted a a 13 yo vw rye.

It is funny how certain products sell better in some areas.  I remember when CEHT SmB was available for $39.99 in Indy for the longest time.  It disappeared and then returned at $49.99.  I can still find it for $42.99 at one local store.  They periodically run out.  He says someone typically comes in and buys a couple after they restock.  Yet, in other areas, it just sits on the shelf.

Never saw a 9 year. I thought they ran out with the 8 year batch. I'd clear the shelf without a second thought

Good for you then.  I've really enjoyed my experiences with the CEHT SB.  I'm surprised they don't sell, but I guess their normal price is on the high end.
