Don't know how widely available it is outside of Texas and Louisiana but for a summer beer, really enjoying Abita Creole Cream Ale. Nothing too complex but just a mighty good beer that has just the right combination of bitter/sweet, leaning towards tart.

Hot day in Hotlanta, so enjoying an iceberg cold Corona on the front porch swing after cutting the grass, while my cheerleader (barks the entire time I'm cutting) cools down with a bag of ice and the fan.  :)

I liked it, pretty tasty. A different take on the style. Some funk.

I've had a couple Founders Doom over the past few days.  It's really, really good. It's also somewhat of an unusual style.  It's an IPA aged in bourbon barrels.  I only had a couple other barrel aged IPA's.  They were good but I really like this one.  It's well done.

If you get a chance to have it, make sure you let it warm up before drinking it.  The barrel flavors really show through when it's warmer.

Does that say that it is brewed with Icelandic moss?!?  How does that taste?:)

I believe it does say that!. It's good. It's Geyser Gose from Evil Twin Brewing.

Had a few Monk In the Trunk Amber Ales from Inlet Brewing Co. Jupiter, FL last night.

Not bad, not great.

I rarely drink any beer I didn't brew myself.

A morning of running errands deserves a reward. A nice local IPA (Broadway Batch 300) and New Belgium's Voodoo Ranger DIPA with Passionfruit was a nice reward. Perfect weather to be out on a porch w/ the dog too! (High of 81 in late June?!?!)

It's great stuff. Try the Prarie Bomb next. The place is a few miles from our house. I need to take the growler over there to fill up.

I just pulled these out of the cellar. Tomorrow a friend is coming over for a tasting. He's bringing a bottle of Barrel aged Bomb. I've had all but the BA and the pirate. My favorite going into the side by side is the original.
