Larceny fits the bill just fine IMO. Cheap and always available.

I personally would rather have this over say recent bottlings of ORVW10 if that's any indication. Ha I wish he had a bunker full of this stuff. He doesn't really drink a lot. Good for me I guess! This thing might be 30 years old. I'm glad the juice is still good!
flahute
Drinking a 4R OBSK from Liquor Barn. 8yrs and some months (maybe 5, too lazy to get up and go look at the bottle). When I first opened this, it tasted terrible. I was surprised because I've never been let down by the barrel pickers at Liquor Barn. So I chalked it up to quality finally dropping off at 4R due to the barrel program being under stress forcing people into younger and younger barrels. The second time I tried it was a little better. The third time a little better still, but it was still off. I stayed away for a while still feeling a bit bummed about it. Opened it back up tonight and.......eureka. An amazingly beautiful pour with the kind of flavors you get from those celebrated LE bottles that have OBSK in the blend. Huh. How did that happen? It took me back to my first ever 4R PS bottle which was an OESK. Hated it at first. Couldn't figure out the flavors. It eventually turned into one of my all time favorites. I guess that K yeast can be special but if you haven't had it in a while you may need an adjustment period to learn how to process those flavors. At least that's how my palate works.
Patrick_OKC
Doing a flight of HH stuff: began with 1783, followed by EWSB 1999. Will next sip some EWBIB, and if so motivated will have a tad of FC103 6yr.
lrochau
Drinking some old paper label Weller 12 that I got from another forum member a few years back in exchange for a sample of ER101. It's amazing. I only have about .5 OZ left. Gonna be a sad day when it's gone.
Kpiz
It has become a wheater night. I'm at a BBQ in San Diego and the hosts have MM and WSR. Both tasting pretty good tonight!
Bullseye
Had some Four Roses OBSQ... which was delicious. I'll need a couple more sessions to unpack all of the tasty components. Followed with some Early Times BIB. I really enjoy this... lots of chocolate notes.

lcpfratn
Enjoying multiple pours of good Ole Dickel No12 tonight! It isn't always something that I'm in the mood for, but occasionally that unique flavor just hits the spot! The wife also had some KY Owl Rye and some ECBP batch 9. While we there my wife also got a small free pour of FR Al Young as well. That has an awesome nose on it and a super long finish. To end the night at home while watching Wonder Woman we put a pretty big dent in an ECBP 136 batch 12.
BourbonDude
Hunter & Scott bourbon from the Reservoir Distillery. Not great, but not bad either. It's a little too far into the strong cinnamon flavor style which just isn't my thing. Edited October 1, 2017 by BourbonDude
CardsandBourbon
While tailgating before the football game yesterday I thoroughly enjoyed some SAOS 11 year SB, then some RRSB, followed that up with some Blanton's and then finished up with some AE. It went very well with the smoked pulled pork quesadillas. Plus we won the game so a good day all around.

I tried the BH dark rye yesterday. I'm REALLY glad I didn't buy a bottle. What batch of Capri Sun? The earlier batches are better. beasled
ETL (after some peated scotch, works well..). This is a 2015 (one of the 'good' batches) and it's been excellent.
