LCWoody
What a beautiful afternoon, I’m watching my youngest do flips on the trampoline, liaising to the purple martins and having a glass of some bourbon. Don’t know what bourbon, so I could be at bourbon zen right now. Edited March 6, 2018 by LCWoody

reeko
3 hours of The Bachelor calls for a stiff pour. Haha I feel the same way too when my wife makes me watch it. I make sure it's barrel proof. I feel like they can do the whole show in 3-5 episodes . Meet the bachelor and his potentials. One or two episodes for all the dates then him choosing in one hour episode. flahute
Holding strong in my dry March but I get a reprieve tomorrow as I head to DC for a barrel pick. Feeling good after a week.

When I decided to have some, I found it too strong and gross, especially the barrel proof ones. Somehow me being sick changed the flavor profile for bourbons I used to like. Now I know how my wife felt when she tries my bourbon lol. It took a few days for my palate to return to normal. Now it tastes good again. That's never happened before. Kane
Poured myself an OWA, but it was a mistake. I got fairly drunk on bourbon and rye at a gathering last week like an idiot -- first time in many many years. I'm going through that bourbon aversion phase. Into a sample bottle this goes, I'll have a mezcal tonight.

reeko
Whew. Thank God it comes back.....I was worried if it didn't. What would my new hobby be? Who would get my unopened whiskey? Clueby
Enjoying some Barrell Bourbon Batch 14 that recently hit St. Louis. I preferred it over the New Year 2018 batch. It's more of a classic bourbon nose and palate. Not overly complex but has a nice thick feel and taste without being syrupy. Has a little spice and oak at the end. Well done but a tad overpriced. JCwhammie
Last night I went to a $65 tasting at a local liquor store. I think the pours were 1/2oz. The Black Maple Hill was just flat out bad. The Yippy Ki-Yay isn’t really my thing either. The rest were good to excellent.
