Radioyada
It has been one of those weekends that did not allow me a chance to partake of the nectar of the Gods until tonight, so this bottle wins the pour of choice. What a magnifcent color! Which I’m sure it does, but if it tastes have as good as it looks it must be dynamic.. Well done...

The extra notes from the wine and sherry are nice but it drinks lower than 94 proof to me. I realize that won't appeal to some but I appreciate what they were going for here and have no regrets buying it. I think it will be in the try before buying for many though.

I will go so far to say it is the best bottle of Blanton’s I have ever had, and there have been quite a few. It will be slightly difficult to make it last, but fortunately there are other opened bottles that need attention as well.
Clueby
Had a pour of OE7/117 tonight. Seemed a bit hot and bitter to me tonight so I switched over to some Scotch. This one is my least favorite of the Ardbeg lineup but is a bit sweet and easy drinking...at least for an Ardbeg.

CardsandBourbon
I've been all over the place lately. ET BIB, Calumet Single Rack 10 yr., Old Ezra Barrel Strength (which I have only found at one local restaurant, still looking for a bottle, hint, hint), FR SiB, ER (which I shared on the patio with my son in celebration of him buying his first house). fishnbowljoe
It was kind of a bittersweet day for me at work. A friend/coworker retired today after almost 27 years. I’m very happy for him, but I’ll miss him a lot. Over the last umpteen years, we’d worked fairly closely together in one particular area. A very healthy pour of BT is in my glass to celebrate his retirement. Cheers to you Kevin! Biba! Joe

I've got three over here with me right now (2 more in US storage). Candy gets hot rodded this fall. The gold one got done this last winter. The sunburst is kind of amazing as she is. Wow, as a bass player and bass and guitar collector, I am absolutely salivating over these Les Pauls! They're all hot, but wow that sunburst is outstanding! Not to get too off topic from bourbon here, but I thought I'd post a picture of some basses and guitars from my collection, what I call my "other" passion. I also just bought a 1962 Fender Precision bass as an early 50ieth "b-day present to self." It isn't in the photo. Cheers, Nancy

hollywood
Another pour tonight of the EC SmB.. Not sure if it’s me and the ole palate tonight or because the bottle has been open for a couple of weeks now.. but I picked up a distinct (what I’d call fresh red apples) with the other notes tonight.. That was a first. Combo of my palate and opened bottle??
