JCwhammie
A few weeks ago I commented on a FB post from a LS in another state that I'm going to the end of March. I asked if they had any of their latest RRSiB pick from CNF. I had a bottle, and it was fantastic. Unfortunately they are out, but a local replied to my post saying he has a full bottle that he doesnt want. He said he has a good collection (backed up by a pic he sent me), and he said he didnt want any compensation for the RR. I told him I'm happy to pay or trade. A day later he asked if we get New Riff, as he's been wanting to try it. The next day I went and bought this bottle. Fast forward 2 weeks and the hoopla surrounding Covid 19 has Ms Whammie and I likely not going on our trip. That gets us to today. I decided, since we're no longer going to trade and I've never tried this, that tonight's as good a night as any to open this. The high rye definitely makes its presence known, which is nice. I echo many other comments that I've seen, this is likely to be incredible in another 4-6 years. Is it worth $50? I'd say not really, but with the rising costs of basically all BS bottles, I'm not disappointed.

Clueby
Not quite to @Kepler level but I cracked this one for me and the Mrs. It's super woody. Almost too much, but not quite.

Bob_Loblaw
First WT cork debacle. This is unfortunately half of a brand new bottle that the top came off and bottle fell down some stairs combined with the half bottle I had currently open. Sighhhh.

0895
I was supposed to be touring Maker’s Mark tomorrow and hopefully acquiring a bottle of the 101p. Instead, I’m at home watching my “Office Space” DVD.... which is a great movie & all, but I’d rather be in Bardstown tonight. KY is my “happy place”. Figured this was appropriate to open, considering the circumstances. It’s pretty good. Has a nice little twist of brown sugar to it that is kind of the opposite of the typical makers mark profile I was expecting. I like it.

What is the chance you bring back the phone that takes the purple haze photos? I realize that isn't bourbon related, but inquiring minds want to know.
