5yr old Old Scout pick followed by some Pikesville and buffalo wings. Spicy!

Living large!  I would probably swap the wings for BBQ but we are on the same page.  Whiskey and wings.

My last two nights of my Advent Calendar have been a KC SiB store pick and a Stagg Jr so I had to stick with something high-proof tonight,  Enjoying an ECBP barrel pick.

Opened with a pour of Baby Saz followed by a pour of FRSiB (an east sider).

This barrel is from the east side of Warehouse G (GE).  It is pretty good. Some say certain locations within certain warehouses produce better barrels.  I am going with east siders are the best until proven otherwise.  Of course, that might happen with the next bottle of FRSiB I buy.  I believe they have some north siders on the shelf at my local store.  I might need to assess one to confirm my hypothesis.

I also started my night with baby saz (plus a couple drops of woodfprd's chocolate bitters and a pair of luxardo cherries). I reckon I may follow your lead on the 4R Sib next

No bourbon yet tonight. Got a Wild Turkey 101 Rye Manhattan going with Luxardo cherries and a block of clear ice in a double old fashioned glass.

Some day I'll spring for some proper  coupe glasses and do this cocktail with the ceremony it deserves.

FYI, their warehouses are divided in half either east/west or north/south. So they don't each have all four cardinal direction sections. I wouldn't discount those north/south warehouses out of hand :)

Finished an Eastsider this week and currently working on a representative of the south side of warehouse E.  Very happy to have met both of them.

Heading to a holiday party. As wife continues to push departure time I figured I should spend my time wisely. I’ve been sitting on a pair of these PS 6 year for a few years. I guess now is the time. It’s like sucking on a red hot.

Just a couple drops of water usually helps that stuff to go from too hot to excellent

If Snagglepuss had known about Heaven Hill, this phrase might have ended quite differently.  Heaven Hill to Murgatroyd.

Anyone who finds a way to work Snagglepuss into a post is a winner to me.

An ECBP store pick was my Advent Calendar sample tonight.  Then I switched to Four Roses SiB because I hadn't had it in a while, now on a glass of Kirkland 1792 SiB.

I opened with MM101 while the wife and I watched Home Alone (first time I've ever watched it).  We followed that with Charlie Brown Christmas, which is an annual tradition in our house since I was a kid. Much better.

Now I have MM BRT-02 in my glass while watching an old Rifleman episode in my mancave.  Warming up the amplifier, getting ready to switch to music ... think I'll put on some Vince Guaraldi Christmas music while I continue to sample various wheaters.

🥃

After the Cowboys, I said, 'enough is enough'.  I was not even going to tune in to today's game, but my wife put it on just before halftime.  So, I got lured into it.

Is there some way to un watch a football game. 🤬

I'm trying with regular MM
