Finished off a 375ml bottle of MM46 CS.  Followed up with a small pour of ECBP C922.  Stellar.

This.

Another great pick from my favorite LS.

I think it was around $40.00, and worth every penny.

I've seen some of these turn up at a grocery store, not the same barrel, but Rebel Distiller's Collection.  Next time, I'm grabbing one.

I'm a fan of the Rebel 100, for a budget wheat pour.

HH BIB 7 yr bought from a local store catering to the business/fancy tourist crowd.  HH is otherwise unavailable here.  Yes, I paid a premium, but not too bad.

Tons of caramel, some spice, a little oak, no alcohol burn.  Is hard NOT to drink this like water.

Small pours for a wider variety tonight. Some ER10 while in a late work zoom. (hey, it was 7:30). Followed by some BT. Some Old Fitz 14yr BIB - oh yes, it's a wheater holiday season. Now into some RRSiB.

Finishing off some HMxK that was heavily damaged over the past weekend.  It has been a very good bottle.

A healthy pour of BT SP from today.  There are some pretty serious “legs” on this, I may need to go back for more!  The profile is very consistent with the standard.C2898045-0BF1-4966-AC00-585B6C70A119.thumb.jpeg.d9884b91264249e9a8e216cf4a467d1d.jpeg

Drama at work calls for something special. Honey suckle and oats. Very good pour! I’ll be looking for the fall BiB release based on how good this is. It’s a steal at $50. Highly recommend.

I cracked a Four Roses Small Batch Select a few weeks ago and thought it was alright.  Had a small pour tonight and it tasted fantastic, so I had another one.

Here's what I had today.  Lost of these were barrel picks.

EH Taylor Barrel Strength

Old Carter Rye Batches 8 and 9

Bulleit Barrel Strength

New England Barrel Company Single Barrel

Starlight Bourbon finished in VDN barrels

Starlight Double Oaked

Heaven Hill Bottled in Bond

Still Austin Cask Strength

Trader Joe's Barrel Entry Proof Bourbon

1792 Full Proof

Nikka Straight From The Barrel

Lost Republic Straight Bourbon Whiskey

Bardstown Collaboration finished in rum barrels

Woodford Reserve Master's Collection Batch PRoof

Frey Ranch Single Barrel

Evan Williams Master's Blend

Rare Character Cast Strength Single Barrel

Old Elk Single Barrel

Jack Daniel's Bonded

Kentucky Owl Confiscated

Horse Soldier Straight Bourbon Whiskey

Garrison Brothers Single Barrel

Pinhook Single Barrel

Redwood Empire Pipe Dream Cask Strength

Now to be fair, I did taste and spit most of them.  My local whiskey club had a bottle share.  I would guess 80-ish people, and over 100 bottles.  I got home and an too bourboned-out to do today's Advent Calendar sample so I will do it tomorrow.

Ok, you had me wondering in the beginning, if you were contemplating suicide by random crap. Some of those may be good, but this looked like a donation of the "oops motif"...

Anyway, fun is fun and that could be fun... 😛

A pour of ECBP C922 while watching another Christmas movie on Hallmark.  I wonder how it will end?

Spoiler alert: The guy who looks like a one-off Patrick Dempsey gets together with Sabrina the Teenage Witch, after they realize they really don't have much in common with their significant others/fiances.  Jilted parties harbor no ill-will about the situation, and our heroes settle into their new lives operating a kitschy, holiday themed business in rural Connecticut.
