The boys are gone.  The wife and I just woke up from a nap.  Let’s make it a trifecta, PVW 15 it is.  Cheers all!

My wife gifted to me a clear ice cube maker so I’m trying it out for the first time with some BC ECBP. Really excited about this. Let them freeze a little too long so it took a little longer than it should have to extract the cubes. The surface imperfections you see is surface melt that occurred while I was extracting. Next time I should nail it.

As I type this post those surface imperfections are melting off and boy does the cube look great.

Hell yes! It's the time of year for these kinds of pours.

Looks like the ice cube present works...that's a pretty clear cube. What brand is it? Pics perhaps??

Here is the tray.
And storage after you extract them

Major thanks to geclbxf for his and his wife's perfect hospitality.

Old Fitz 16

Old 55 100% Corn

ECBP Store Pick

Russel's 2003 (16y)

Parkers Orange Curacao

Spirits of French Lick Rye Curacao Store Pick

Bardstown Collection BBC Double Finished

He shares the best and pours with a heavy hand.  If he ever opens a bar, I'm there!

You are always welcome!   Slow start this morning thanks to that pour list, LOL!   Thanks for being such a great dude and an excellent connector of bourbon lovers!

WTRB most of the week.  Away from home longer than planned (Southwest) and did not want to open another bottle.

The palate is in immediate need of an adjustment.  So many and much different foods, beers, whiskies, and cigars have plowed through it over the last week or so, everything is beginning be “off”.  Nothing gets my palate back to center better than some George Dickel.  I’ll be good shortly.😁

Old Fitz BIB 14yr in the glass currently as I am done with work for 2022. Looking forward to spending the last day and a half with plenty of bourbon and ringing in 2023 with something nice. Just have to determine what that "nice" bottle may end up being.
