mozilla
Scott, I found the flavor profile on the Bernheim to be very sharp. Didn't get the smooth sweet syrup of a SW wheater or even the peanuts of a Bernheim wheater. Maybe due to the unusually high amount of wheat. IIRC it is close to 100%??? No corn just seems wierd.Jeff Mo.

smokinjoe
Was in Texas this week on business. Luckily came across 2 WT Tributes. Shipped 'em home, and they were a welcome sight when I got in at 1:30AM, after a 3-1/2 hr delay at DFW.:drinking:JOE

Woo-hoo, this is the one I can't find out here! I should have it by the end of next week, woot woot!
Aged In Oak
Picked up a full-size bottle of Bulleit. Tried a mini-bottle a while back and remember liking it a lot. A unique and very enjoyable flavor, at least to my amateur palate. Definitely a favorite of the bourbons I have experienced so far.

CrispyCritter
My Rittenhouse BIB was looking kind of low (imagine that!), so I got a replacement, and also a bottle of Power's Gold Label - it's been a while since I had some Irish whiskey. TBoner
Weller Centennial, Louisville. Also found some Amer Picon. Unfortunately, it's not the really old 78 proof stuff, but a 42 proof version from the late 80s or early 90s.
Special Reserve
Weller Centennial, Louisville.I pick one up on Thursday with the BHC band. Now over $37.00 with tax in MI. Phischy
This weekend I pickedup Black Maple Hill 11yr. I have the Small Batch and the price was right on this lower one so I snapped it up.Portland stores have a TON of Saz Rye, which I've seen 1x down here. I should have picked one up as well BUT I didn't think that long neck would survive the trip home.

tmas
Found a lone bottle of Jefferson Reserve 15 Year in a little shop way out on Eastern Long Island. This is a bourbon I will always pick up should I see it, which is becoming more and more infrequent the further it gets from having switched over to "very old" rather than "15 Yr". I have to go back and revisit my open bottle of this one, it's been a while, and I really enjoy it. Tom
