GaryT
I've not seen any in GA but I did find a bottle of it in Idaho about a month ago when I was there for work.I picked up a Batch 3 in GA last month, but never seen it on a shelf (think the store got 3 or 6 in). Where I picked up my batch 1 bottles (on the shelf) never got batch 2 or 3. Odd
DogfaceSoldier
I haven't seen a bottle in Savannah or Augusta at all. Wonder if I've just missed it or if the stock didn't move south past Atlanta.
HP12
I haven't seen another batch in VA since ECBP #1 was released here. Did subsequent batches make it to VA?
mbroo5880i
I know batches #1 and #2 made it to Indiana. I didn't know about batch #1 until it was too late. My favorite liquor manager saved a bottle of batch #2 (137 proof) for me. I really like it. I can drink it straight but prefer not too. I typically blend it down with EC12 to around 100 to 115 proof. Tonight, I tried it blended down with EC18 which was a nice treat. The proof of the vatting was around 105 proof. It was a little hot and woody upon entry but turned into a nice spicy cherry flavor on the palate with a nice spicy woody flavor on the finish which was decent length. The ECBP being younger and higher proof helped tone down some of the woody flavor in EC18.

bingstein
ECBP has been harder to find in Kentucky than any other limited release this past year. I have not even sniffed a batch 3 and all my batch 1 and batch 2 came from the same store where I know the owner. I'm sure there is a great marketing idea behind such limited bottles 40 miles from where it's made, but I don't know what that is.
MyOldKyDram
Yeah I haven't seen and aren't even sure if batch 3 has made an appearance here yet. Would love to grab one, but if its already gone, eh.

smknjoe
I would guess that you were late to the party on that one. Only because batch 1, along with any other LE from any distillery (with the exception of VW), hit Houston months after KY and the rest of the country. I heard that we didn't get batch 2 and that batch 3 hit the shelves for about 2 days here a couple of months ago. Personally, I haven't seen a bottle of it around here since batch 1 hit in the middle of August.

Surely the allocation is not that level.I think that's true, but I am surprised that I'm pretty darn resourceful with limited releases and I've seen more Pappy, BTAC,and FR125 in KY than I have ECBP. I have literally never seen a single bottle on the shelves in all 3 batches. Meanwhile, the east coast seems to get it in spades.

By resourceful I meant a lucky pest who does a lot of traveling. Just saying, where the f*** is the ECBP in Kentucky?
suntour
That is pretty interesting too because when our store got two cases, I bought two bottles initially and labored over not just buying them all. They were there for two weeks. They got the second batch and had it for a day or two.I went to Eugene later that week and bing! two cases of it on the shelf. Never even had a shot at FR 125 this year, not even the FR LE SmB. Store owners laughing at me. Obvs the pappy situation was worse. Weird how that is. suntour
Having a monster pour of this stuff, my last bottle of batch 1. I had my first bottle open longer and feel like air didn't help it all that much. This one is just drinking perfectly all the way through over the course of a week or so (hey now I had help on it). The only bourbon I've found this to be the case with.
TunnelTiger
Opened my first bottle of this last night and all I can is WOW! I really don't enjoy EC12 that much but flavor of this first pour was just out of the park!

Drinks the same for me from initial opening to the final pour months later. It is one helluva whiskey.
flahute
Do any of the Seattle guys know if this made it to our area? I haven't seen it, but it might not have ever made it to the shelves. (I haven't been out asking and pursuing either).
BrooklynBorbone
There's just three right? 134.2, 137, and 133.2? I was lucky enough to score all three here on the East Coast. Found a case this summer in SC of batch one, two cases of batch two in Brooklyn, and one batch three in NJ.

(I haven't been out asking and pursuing either). The Total Wine chain had some through around Christmas that I assume was batch three. I still have a couple bottles so wasn't in the market. It looks like it came and went quickly.
michaelturtle1
Found 3 bottles of batch 2 in DC yesterday for typical retail.. Rather shocked to see them.. Left 1 on the shelf for the next guy or the next time I am down there.. I see a ton of it on shelves in md and Nj.. I live the KY guys bitching about not seeing it, I will trade you bottle to bottle for your FRsmbLE release. Some of your stores got more bottles than entire states up here.. michaelturtle1
And yes it is weird that the north east seems flush with this stuff.. We usually aren't spoiled with anything bourbon wise.. I think the trend is also continuing with Stagg Jr, I am almost tired of seeing itSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
