We drained all sorts of WT this past week (standard 101, Rare Breed and Kentucky Spirit, as well as the last of an open WT 8 and RR10/101). The CGF is still on its last legs for now but I did grab replacement bottles of the first three listed above, as no home is complete without them. I swear, my one buddy would sink a straw in the KS if I let him. He just loves the stuff!

Really I was content with a few ORVW10s this year for myself to drink. The other stuff doesn't tickle my fancy too much. And I opened a WT12 gold foil last night and couldn't be happier that I have a few backups.

Part of me doesn't wanna post this, but, oh well. Today I scored 2 Lot B for $49.99each, 2 15yr for $69.99, and 2 20yr for $119. The retailer is a great guy and doesn't change his margin for any price point. I was really glad, and lucky, to get these, as I'm not sure how much longer honest Bourbon drinkers will be able to get, and afford, old wheaters. It's like 1st growth Bordeaux. Pretty soon they'll all go straight to millionaires' cellars.
