beasled
Dark Star/Saltaire Le IPA. A bit too malty for an IPA but still very good.
tanstaafl2
Not an IPA though. It was an IPL. That being said it was quite hoppy, especially for a lager. Probably why I liked that one!Ah yes! I did remember that was the case. A bit like somebody put too many hops in the Budweiser...
Old Dusty
Green Flash "Le Freak" a mashup of a Belgian Trippel and an Imperial IPA. Like both styles and I do like the combo as well. Kind of like the POH Blend of Mashbills in bourbon. Also had a Piraat Trippel with dinner.

belvedere86
just bought one of the standard editions of this and ready to sample tomorrow. There grand cru is als great. The standard rodenbach is good but there are better options like duchesse du bourgogne or cuvee des jacobins rouge out there.

OscarV
I poured myself a Flying Monkeys The Matador Version 2.0 El Toro Bravo. Nice cigar box nose and earthy rye taste. Here I'll let the label talk,......... .......".El Toro Bravo is a 10.1% imperial strength Dark Rye Ale aged on a bed of Spanish Cedar. Peppery brown with dark, oxblood lights, this stout-hearted ale breeds sweet, toffee malts & crisp, drying rye with the wood and spicy notes of the cedar. El Toro Bravo can be enjoyed fresh or cellared for up to 2 years." Thank you label.

P&MLiquorsEric
Really freaking great stuff and yeah, better than last year. Beer house f'd up on that one. They didn't allocate it so some accounts with on the ball reps managed to get 5+ cases while everyone else was locked out. My rep called me from the road and said he just got an email saying it was available. By the time he pulled off the highway (20 min later), it was all gone. MyOldKyDram
Crazy. Hamburg Liquor Barn is apparently getting theirs tomorrow? Blew through everywhere else here last week. Doubly bad you didn't get any seeing as how it was CA and KY only. Bummer.

Ravensfire
I love vacation time. After a day on the beach, a couple of Sweetwater beers before / during dinner (420 before and the IPA with tacos). Some BT in the evening but split a Nectar Black Xantus with my wife as a nightcap. Its a bit weird drinking an imperial stout on the beach but we both love the style and ya know what? It works!
