Picked up an OESV at 10 years, 7 months. I thought I was missing that recipe, but I was wrong.

This haul was from just after Christmas. The Stagg Jr. and Angel's Envy bourbon were gifts, the rest I purchased from a couple stores in Tennessee.

I picked up an Evan Williams Single Barrel Vintage 2003, and finally I was able to find a Buffalo Trace. That stuff has really been hard to come by up here lately. Now to get them into the bunker. :duel:

Congrats on finding the Buffalo Trace! I can get it for $40 in the NB Moncton area here in canada. How much was it for you in Alterba?

Picked up my first bottle of EC12 over the weekend. I finally had the chance to try it at our local whiskey bar and absolutely loved it. My wife even found it palatable and she doesn't like most bourbon. (Apparently, she finds drinking distilled pine trees to be more enjoyable for some reason.) After the pour at the bar, my first stop on Saturday was to add that to my stash.

Correct, I have 1 of each of the Orphan Barrel bottles in there. I just get into the habit of buying stuff in 2's, been burned a few times, but it saves me the headache later on if I end up really liking something.

Picked up a pint of Blanton's. Knob Creek Cask Strength and Ezra B 12 y/o. I almost got a FRSB, but after my other purchase had to draw a line somewhere. Fortunately I live close enough to the store in Louisville that sold these to me to go back for the FRSB.

I thought I was going to get through the entire month of January without any purchases, but one of my co-workers was traveling down in Portland, OR this past weekend and was on a whiskey hunt himself so he picked up a few items for me. A Weller 12 and x2 OWA were waiting for me at the office this morning. The wave of releases countrywide for these two has not hit Washington State yet and given the shenanigans with the BTAC and VW release this fall it's no given that they will show up at all.

A bottle of Zaya 12 year old Rum. Excellent Rum and Don Julio 70th Anniversary Tequila.. Life is good.. Cheers Creggor

I know this is about bourbon but since you mentioned it will be curious to hear your thoughts on the Don Julio 70th Anniversary tequila in the tequila thread.

I must admit it was one I really didn't care for. I thought it was a bland heavily filtered tequila. YMMV!

5 ETL, 3 W12 yr, 2 ECBP Hazmat, ORVW 10 yr, PVW 12, PVW 15, GTS '14, Willett XCF (rye but oh well), 2 MMCS, Jefferson's Ocean 3, 5 OWA, CEHTBP, and 15-20 of your more basic bottles.

Hope to keep it growing and keep expanding my knowledge.
