nd2005
I suspect you are right. I do wish I had gotten a chance to try the 22yr bottle that Boulevardier mentioned just to see if and how much it may have differed.Along the lines of your thinking about the barrels that have been passed over, our market received a 23yr bourbon late last year that was bottled for a distributor who then spread it out among various smaller stores. It's only 101.2 proof but it's marvelous. I bought 3 bottles of it. I imagine this is one that got passed over (pure speculation) because of the low proof (it seems people really go for the Willett high proof monsters). In my opinion though, the low proof is due to being stored in a cold place in the rickhouse which resulted in much less oak influence that you'd get from a barrel in the hothouse. This barrel was a sleeper that got ignored by the trend for big barrel proof bourbons.Interesting thought. Anecdotally some of my favorite barrel proof bottles have been "low" barrel proofers that came in under 110.

TunnelTiger
A WTRB and a EC12. It's probably been a year since I've picked the 12 and I really didn't care for it. But I really enjoy the SB, 21, & 23 yr so I figured I'd it another shot and it's still under $3o.
miller542
Knob Creek. The cabinet was lacking Beam products and they're all sneaking up another $1 here in Feb.

Anywhere from $5-$10.
chooch714
Out of curiosity, I picked up a bottle of Walking Stick. Haven't tried yet but, I'm sure I will get to it some time over the weekend.

flahute
Weller 12 has started showing up in Washington State and allocations are small and it's selling out fast. I snagged 1 this evening. I probably could have gotten a couple more in the past day or two but it would have required making a bunch of phone calls and putting my life on hold while I drove all over the city trying to run them down. I'm a little burnt out on that after the fall limited release season so I balked because I have a few in the bunker. Also picked up a 4RYL and a 4RSB because I'm in the cult. scottonscotch
Found a new place today, got 2 elmer t. Lee's, Stagg jr, weller 12, and a laphroaig portwood cairdeas - all very reasonably priced, so I can't complain.

PaulO
Yesterday I was surprised to see some DSP 354 Mellow Corn BIB. Like Rittenhouse, this was made by B-F for a number of years. The current ones are DSP 1. Anyway, this Mellow Corn is great, and it cost me $10.50!

Kinda the last on the list for me for fall/winter hunting season.Weller 12 came and went in my state. I believe only one county gets it. They got 8 cases and sent it to one store and sold out in 30 minutes. I don't think I will ever get a bottle here.

screamtone
Bought a handle of the old Fitz bib.I'm in Louisville and can't find anything but 375's of Old Fitz BIB, but some of the bars seem to have 750's. I actually went to a new (to me) store tonight hoping to score a 750. Had to settle for a 375.While I was there, I also picked up HH6 BIB, VOB BIB, and 1792. It's still listed in the package specs on the HH website. I may see if a bar owner friend of mine will order me a case before it's only a memory. I need to hit some stores in Southern Indiana to see if they have some left, as well.
