Charlutz
Had EHT SmB last night and really enjoyed it. It was from a friend's bottle but I have two bottles I brought back from New Orleans at $35 each or so. Going to have to crack them soon. Also had some booker's 2014 round table which is as usual excellent and an EWSB04 where I killed the bottle. It was my first EWSB and I really enjoyed it. I'll buy another although most of what I see is 2007 and aged in the 8 year range where the 2004 was nearly 10 years. Hope the younger ones drink as well as the older. elmossle
Some of the wife's family just arrived in town for a visit……so I figured a nice pour of PHC8 was a fitting way to start the evening. Followed that up with some EC12. I have a feeling I will be posting here frequently in the next few days.

However after a long day at work, some times you just want to settle into your normal routine. Oh well, I am enjoying the company while I can. Of course a glass of bourbon helps keep me company as well and tonight it was a glass of Erza B Single barrel.

I have several of these Belle Meade single barrels, but only one open so far. I'm trying to decide if I should open the McScrooge's one I have at 104.3 proof. It makes me wonder if we have bottles from the same barrel. Right now I'm sipping on some KCSB. It's a Liquor Barn selection called "Boston's Secret". A nice pour with some good spice and heat but doesn't taste nearly as hot as some other KCSB selections I've had. Very enjoyable. Golferpimp1
Finally back home to my options and bunker after being on the cruise with limited selections (makers mark, duke, woodford). Obeezy1Kaneezy
Picked up a bottle of EWSB since so many have had good things to say about it. Enjoying it! Not a bad bang for your buck pour...
Spade
Grabbed a SAOS 11 year. It caught my attention because it's cask strength but only 48.8%. I've seen some lower proofed cask strength stuff from them before but not that low. I've got another 11 year to compare it to at some point. Hop
Opened a bottle of 1792 Full Proof and the finish is awesome - that high rye mashbill comes through and the proof makes all the difference. I like 1792 anyway but this takes it up a notch or two. Learned today that they are also allowing Barrel Picks of this and there are three underway already with one being Beverage Warehouse. Hoping I can get one of the SC stores to do a barrel of this as they've already done a couple of the 1792 SB's also hoping I can get in on the selection process... mbroo5880i
Enjoying the initial few pours of a newly opened bottle of CEHT SmB. It has that nice light wood cinnamon cherry profile that I enjoy with BT mashbill #1. The same as GTS but lighter.

elmossle
Okay, in laws were finally too much to handle tonight. Well actually so was the wife but I won't get into that. Had a HUGE pour of CETHBP to start the night off after dinner. Added just a splash of water and it did wonders to open it up even more. Surprisingly that still had not calmed the nerves so I added a little WTRB to the blood stream and all was well with the body.
Paddy
I've been in steamy hot FL for the past week (and it sure has slowed my bourbon consumption down). Upon arrival, I was gifted a standard bottle of Belle Meade, which appears to be sourced MGP distillate. It's proved to be a perfectly serviceable bourbon, even if a bit overpriced (IMO). I've also had a few pours of OF BIB, because you can never have too much OF BIB.
GaryT
Enjoyed some dusty OGD 86 last night - not sure how I forget the giant bowling-ball bottle, but it tends to not get the love it probably should.
