Cool, thanks. I see they didn't really overhaul the labeling like I thought they were going to.  Yet, anyway.  Maybe that's why I haven't noticed it yet, because it looks basically the same.  I'm not sure whether I will rush out and buy the 116 or not, as I was not too impressed with 112 compared to the 108.2.

I can't speak for the earlier bottlings as I haven't tried them. I find this to be a flavorful mouthful. A couple drops of water really open it up.

Got a bottle of the new (2017) HW Bourye.  Not opened yet though.

You are going to love it, I was at the distillery on Wednesday when it was released, very smooth, more bourbon forward thank the 2016 release, I tried them side by side, 2016 v 2017, both great......I must admit I am a big fan of HW

You have to be on a list for regular Buffalo Trace?  Those are stacked 10 deep on most shelves here.  I remember at one point last year there was a shortage but it didn't last long.  ER is rare (ha!) but can be found with a little looking. Blanton's is even harder to find.

It's back on the shelves for now but limited to 1 bottle. It's gotten a little crazy in Oklahoma. We still have OWA all over. Everything else getting sparse. Eagle rare blantons and such

Ok sounds good.  I am sure I will eventually succumb in a weak moment and pick up a bottle to try. That's what I do, hah.

Haven't done the SBS yet. Just bought the FC this morning. This is a trend though where I'm trying to pick up a bunch of formerly age stated brands and their new NAS counterparts to hopefully do a big blind SBS with a few friends to see how everyone evaluates them. FC, KC, EC, JBB, etc.

Interesting story.  I did a blind SBS not long ago and included in the group among others was FC103 6 year age state and WTRB 112 proof.  Much to my surprise I ranked  the FC 6yr ahead of the 112 version of RB.  That was surprising and eye opening.  It's pretty good juice.

I needed to reload on what I call my third pour bottles -- basically what I should be drinking to save a few bucks once my palate is less discriminating. Good pours, but whiskey that is reasonably priced and easily replaced. Had a $10 off $50 coupon at Total Wine and walked out with these two for $50 and change after tax.

I follow this same concept, usually have BT or ECNAS or FC at the ready. In the summer I'll also have EWBIB with ice or FRYL.

Last weekend I went to TW to pickup the WT101 handles that were on sale that I bought online. While there, I shopped of course! I picked up some staples - a 4RSiB, OGD114 (back in stock!) and a Baby Saz. Well that 4RSiB turned out to be a really good barrel so I went back last night to see if they still had any and there three more so I snagged them.

Also grabbed an ECNAS (old bottle), a WTRB 112, and an OF1920 (just love this one).

With all the WT talk lately, I picked up a WT101 Austin Nichols label for $22.  To those much wiser than I, is there any way to discern how old the bottle is other than pre 2011 when the label changed?

In CT, Blanton's a dime a dozen... $48.99- $54.99, same with Eagle Rare...

I've picked up 2 Michter 10's and 2 Rebel Yell 10's this week. Michter's were $105 each and the Rebels were $65 each...

Fortunately yes I am but I think the bottle count will have to go down before any more purchases/orders.

She had to know why I wasn't concerned about her getting another "scuba hoodie" from Lululemon ha
