Enjoying a nice pour of 4RSmB, from an older bottle. Man, I had forgotten how good the plain 'ole 4RSmB can be (I know dangling participle, it is late).  Good viscosity, sweetness with cooking spices thrown in for good measure.

Delicious.

Earlier had a Booker's & Ginger Ale, nice combo

Had a pour of Basil Hayden last night.  I know some aren't high on it but I do like the dry spicy finish.

Picked up another bottle of OF1920 Friday and enjoyed a large pour last night while watching the NCAA basketball games... Absolutely love this stuff!

As great as you're drinking with the 23, I admire the glass even more!

I'm sure you know that's some old glasses. The set we have use to be my wife's Grandma's.

Alright. Pretty elaborate weekend. Had a few different things ranging from Elmer T Lee to some CEHT.

Not a bourbon (and if not allowed I can delete) but this was on yesterdays menu. A couple of old label JD Single Barrels.

Very tasty.

It's a gray evening, but finally dry, after about 5 hours of storms earlier. Feels like a 1792 Port and Stagg Jr kind of a night.

After doing some spring cleaning in the garage while my pork roast slow cooked (with cumin, garlic, oregano, black pepper, red pepper, olive oil, lemon juice & lime juice) before being pulled and used to make Cuban Sandwiches, decided to make it a single barrel night.  Started out with a pour of EW Single Barrel (barreled on 8/26/08 #413, bottled on 9/27/16).  Moved on to one of my store picks of KC Single Barrel (12+ years).

I've been drinking a lot of Turkey the past few months, pretty much all their labels except for WT101. I fixed that tonight with a pour of 101. So impressed with this whiskey at the price. It has more char on the palate than any of the others which is a nice addition.

Small price to pay for a bottle that is as good as that one!! That is what got me hooked on bourbon in the first place. Love that stuff and still wish I had grabbed 2 more bottles myself when I had the chance.

Yeap, that stuff is gold! Found some 2014 yesterday, did you try it ?

Awesome! Never had it, but maybe someday. Enjoy!

Decided to go for the turkey tonight. This one has a different nose from the other turkey releases, very enjoyable when you need something smooth, weirdly less oakier and sweeter than the 8 and 12 version. Need to bunker a few.

Quick question, are they still produce it ??

Cheers!

Will.

I've been enjoying a cask strength FRSB.  9-10 years old.  That's little red riding hood bourbon - not too young not too old, not too weak not too strong, not too expensive - it's just right.

Enjoying what's left of my Elijah Craig tonight. Surgery two weeks ago left my taste buds dazed and confused, nothing tasted right. I do believe they are back tonight as this is tasting fine!
