If I recall correctly there is no batch number on the bottle and batches are deciphered by proofs. Can anyone back this up?

My understanding as well. There's sites that have all the proofs and release dates.

My local bourbon monger finally got in their barrel selection of ER10, so I picked up a 750ml bottle to drink now as well as a family size for later. The larger format was only $54 because they gave him a deeper discount on them for some reason.

Got lucky in snowy Atlanta today.  Had to open the ETL stat

Good pickups - I have a bottle of that Four Roses pick open now and it is excellent. Tanstaafl2 helped pick that barrel (although you might already you know that)

Couldn’t pass these up, expensive but haven’t seen one in over a year. I left one on the shelf. Not sure what size they are. Edit: they’re 750 ml.

Name got pulled in a lottery to have a chance to purchase one of 70 bottles of limited stuff. Of what was left I chose the 4G. I have had it in a bar in Memphis and didn't think highly of it then, but I think my taste may have been off. Anyway I am once again very fortunate to get a limited bottle.

Well the last of my local Van Winkle and BTAC raffles has come and gone, I decided I would hit up a couple of my out of the way stops to see if I could get lucky, nothing in the way of VW or BTAC but as someone who recalls old KBD stuff fondly pretty damn happy to find some age stated Kentucky XO.

Late night shopping in Manhattan within walking distance from the hotel is typically awe-inspiring in regards to pricing, but dug this 2014 bottling out of the dust tonight for less than a 375mL BT. The same shop had the new Woodford Reserve Cherry whatnot for $259.99 as a point of reference. Rather like it.
