The real 81 and my 81 tasted quite different, even having rested for a day. I'm thinking it was the water. 81 isn't so bad... Note: noticed two stores having it and selling for $119 - $129/ bottle. I also came home yesterday with my first Willet. It's not the purple label but the Pot Still Reserve. Finally picked up a cheap one that I've never seen: a Very Old Bartons 100 Proof for $20. I was also accused of being a flipper yesterday. I had to tell them that was frowned upon by the great forum Straight Bourbon and I plan on drinking every single drop of everything that I buy.
