Kjbarth
WT101 for Bills/Chiefs after a few pours of Guinness for Purdue/Northwestern bball and Rams/Bucs. This WT is hitting the spot perfectly! Another pour for 2nd half is coming.

Started out with a nice pour of FRSiB before dinner. Now, sitting down to watch the game with a pour of WT101. Both have hit the spot but WT101 will be my second half pour as well. Enjoy the game and the bourbon!
GeeTen
GW4G in mass quantities following dinner - BBQ kalbi beef with chinese vegetables - and Chiefs/Bills game w/SWMBO (from Buffalo). Don't care, but made to care . . . . . . . Edited January 24, 2022 by GeeTen

Rhettro
After a couple of cold beers, I’m putting a respectable dent in a bottle of HH Green Label while catching up on the Bills-Chiefs game.
Double C's
watching the bills & chiefs. Killed this bottle I received as a Christmas gift. I found it was better suited over an ice cube instead of poured neat. My follow up pour is the same as most tonight, WT101.

Maybe the best game where I didn't have an actual rooting interest that I've ever seen.

AL - AU OK -Ne OSU - MI Were just some of the games that I had no stake in but enjoyed them for their own merit and rivalry... 4 hours ago, kemosabe said: This bottle went from "What did you purchase" to "what are you drinking" to "what did you finish" in 2 hours. JakeySnakes
As a long-time Bills fan growing up in Central NY, and attending UB, last nights game was a heartbreaker. Something needs to be done with the OT format. Oh...was drinking Dickel BIB 13yr.

Jazzhead
Throwdown tonight, between two MGP giants. Similar proofs, same 36% rye recipe, the main difference is blending philosophies. SWUCUF uses barrels aged from 4 to 9 years, they say to add more fruit character to the blend. They succeed; the UCUF is sweeter up front but adds the luxurious graininess (that's how I describe it) of aged bourbon at the back end, all with superb balance. But I'm struck that the Belle Meade Reserve is easily the superior pour. There is greater age apparent (I'd guess 7 -9 year barrels), and the fruit character has simply deepened, like ripe blackberries. Side by side, both are brilliant but the nod goes to Belle Meade. Jazz in a glass. MGP and these master blenders rock.

Maybe consider letting both teams have a possession, regardless of first possession TD, or simply play all the time on the clock to the end like in a normal quarter.

If I were a Bills fan, I'd sure feel cheated by the OT rules. The coin flip simply gives too big an edge to the winner. That was magnified by the fact that both teams' defenses appeared helpless. It had to have been one of the greatest games, in any sport, that I've ever seen.

He bungled the final 13 secs in regulation, starting with the kickoff.

I agree - kicking the ball into the end zone left the full 13 seconds on the clock, with the Chiefs still holding their timeouts. A short kick that would have forced a return would have burned at least 5 seconds, I'd think, essentially preventing even the amazing Mahomes from having time to work his miracle. GeeTen
Having weathered the domestic storm after Buffalo LOST, drinking GW4G with Shortbread Girl Scout cookies tonite. Notice a pattern in my recent drinking choices???? This stuff is really, really good! Good thing I'm stocked up on WSR and OGD114, eh?
