Thanks for asking. On heavy work days I still wear a sleeve. It has gotten better and I have resumed my exercise routine. Down one stone so far

After extensive research funded by the DOE and published in Physics Review C, here’s what I discovered.

WT101

I refuse to investigate candy corn.

This is the first day that our RV resort opens. It was 40 with 20 mph winds.so we decided to wait to open. Sitting at home in front of a fire with it raining outside here. Having a bit of Blanton’s gold for the evening.

Thanks. It was very cozy. Particularly as it was 40 degrees and raining outside.

No bourbon tonight.  The wife and I went out for the afternoon.  We saw a movie and went out for sushi (with a few Sapporos). Today is the 41st anniversary of our first date.  Life is good!

Even stranger, I only get it in some of their products, not all.

That is curious. The magic of the human sense of taste. It certainly makes our hobby, fun and interesting.

Cheers

It is a great sons but I only recently realized that it's about a slave owner raping his female slaves.

Yep it's common knowledge

I wasn’t aware of this story about the song.
Hard to sing along with the song now.

Standard BT in the glass tonight. Is it just me, or is this stuff getting better as I slowly move down the shoulders of the bottle?  I noticed tonight that the cork did not fit tightly at all. Is this bourbon getting a little beneficial super-slow evaporation by way of an ill-fitting stopper?  Or is this a diabolical plan to more rapidly deplete my one and only bottle of Buffalo Trace, thus necessitating another trip to Greenwood, IN, for a replacement?

Perhaps three more ounces of research will bring the answer.

I would agree with the Makers but never my Weller.  Not that I think it would not go well but it is just so hard  for me to get.

It doesn't bother me.  It was 1971 after all.   Part of the Stones' allure to me was their edginess.  In today's censored world you would never see such a song make it onto a major record label.

This is extreme thread drift so let's agree to end it here.  I was merely wanting to underscore Larceny Barrel Proof flavor with a humorous musical metaphor but it got innocently off the rails a little bit.  No worries.

1792 Full Proof with a bit of water.   Delicious.

Barton is right up there with OF and WT for best of Kentucky, IMO.

Three different SiB. Very difficult profiles, one of them a definite winner imo.

happy early Easter!

Opened the pool today.  The pump wanted to fight me on the prime but I won.  FEA-02 to celebrate.

Weller Single Barrel last night. Still trying to get through this bottle that’s been open for months. Small pour, still disjointed. No balance at all. Second small pour with a splash of Weller 12. This made it a little better, but still not all that agreeable. Third small pour with a splash of Weller FP.  Better yet, but still off center. This is probably the longest it’s ever taken me to finish a bottle of Weller. Well, at least unintentionally anyways. ^_^

Ain’t that the beauty of Single Barrel picks.  It’s great when there is differentiation between them, which will lead to individual opinions of each and you can pick the Winner.

As a youth sports official, I am required to take Concussion Training every year.  Tonight, I realized for the first time that several of the symptoms of a concussion are consistent with symptoms of drinking bourbon - confusion, a loss of time-space consciousness, can't recall what happened before or after the event.  It makes me wonder if bourbon causes concussions.

I’m familiar with the Concussion Training and test @mbroo5880i. Background check too? 😬

I made sure the Easter Bunny visited here (put out the candy), then celebrated with WT 101.
