Good ol' Greenwood, IN comes through again!  Can't find Pikesville anywhere near me.  Cleaned em out (only 2 bottles there).

Very nice and good decision to take both!

Picked up some great bottles over the Xmas period, as well as received a few gifts.  Highlight was a surprise find in random store of a batch 1 Bakers.

Not pictured, I also nabbed a couple of Willett barrel picks - an 8yo bourbon and 7yo Rye, and a bottle of CC 41yo back in late Nov.

Cam, that Baker’s is a crazy find.  That was a dusty when the term dusty was first coined years ago!

It surprised the crap outta me.  Especially as the city I was visiting has plenty of cashed-up collectors.  But it was about as far on the outskirts as it can get, so maybe that was how I got lucky.

Stopped by John O's in Elizabethtown this morning and picked up these two new releases from BBC.  6 years old, their own distillate.  Sampled these yesterday and thought both were very good, especially the wheated version.  Photos:

I tried all three of their Origin series via their Thieving the Barrel tour last August.  They were quite good.

John O's didn't have any of the Rye available for purchase this morning, or else I would have bought a bottle of that as well.

Rye's not out yet, not even at the distillery.

Scored another ECBP C922, makes 1 open, 3 bunkered!!! Anyone heard anything on A123?

I haven't heard a thing which is a little odd since it is almost the middle of January, but my guess is we will get release notes next week. Congrats on your new addition to the group.

Anytime I see bottled in bond, it piques my interest. 🤔

I wonder how widely this will be available.

I do see Bardstown products in a lot of stores around here, but those are the ones with sourced stuff of different ages blended together.
