Anwalt
Indy purchase, bought light. But just cannot beat the prices. Blade & Bow x 2 at $32 each. These are for my son. He loves them. KC Rye, SiB, 115 proof version, $32 each. JD SiB (94 proof version), $33 each. Hard to beat the bang for the buck.

Davesnothere
This morning was our state ABC allocation day for December. The pickin's were a bit slim after the yearly lottery last week, but any time I can pick up an EC barrel proof, I'm in. m

People are always surprised at reveal time.
Jazzhead
We went to the Christmas Village and Reading Terminal Market in Center City Philly this afternoon. Had great Cajun food and donuts and saw several stalls selling PA craft whiskey. The day's find is this Stoll & Wolfe single barrel, cask strength rye. This was distilled in Lititz by Dick Stoll , and aged for 33 months, a bit older than their regular proof in-house rye. I love the mashbill, it occupies the same middle ground as Old Forester Rye, more rye (sixty-plus percent) than a Kentucky rye and more sweet corn than those pumpernickel hot messes some craft distillers put out. I like it. They had some seven-year cask strength rye sourced from MGP and their sweet 'n spicy in-house tipple was better.
Clueby
Was an expensive day. Went to a store lottery. You got extra chances if you bought their store picks. Mrs. Clueby REALLY liked the Blue Note pick. . I thought the Yellowstone pick was pretty good. I got picked twice in the drawing...an ECBP B522 (a bit overpriced) at $80 and a RY10 as the final item on the table (not typically my favorite) at $100. They had Willett purple tops, Willett Wheated, 4RSmBLE, RR13, WTMK, etc. One guy got a Willett purple AND a RR13. The vodka infused whipped creams were an impulse buy. Well I guess you could consider ALL of it an impulse buy!! Edited December 17, 2022 by Clueby

flahute
Got my name drawn in the charity lottery at my local so I stopped by on my way home from work to buy the Michter's 10yr Rye. The best part was when the owner surprised me with a George T Stagg. After there not being any last year it felt really good to be holding one again.

PaulO
Well I happened to drop by the grocery store on Friday for the big sale. The main difference I gather between grocery stores with a liquor department and a stand alone liquor store is - grocery stores prefer not to handle brands with supply issues. Anyway, picked up some solid favorites: RR 10 year WT 101 MM FRYL EW B.I.B. EW 1783 Bulleit Rye I'm in Bourbon Zen.

JakeySnakes
Picked up another bottle of John J. Bowman SiB to replace the current bottle in my bunker that will be going to a fellow SB'er who faired much better in our Fantasy Football league than I did.
