Worked in the yard most of the day.  I had a few sunken spots (old tree stumps from 15 years ago) that needed to be leveled and seeded.

I decided that some ER seemed like an appropriate pour for the evening.

Because ER10 tastes like old tree stumps?  Hehe, just kidding.  Actually, I did have one store pick ER10 once that reminded me of musty wood, not unlike what I imagine an old tree stump buried in dirt might taste like.  But usually I do enjoy ER10.

Fixed, I guess I was more focused on the HH than the game 🤣

I don't blame you!

I did the planned SBS of ordinary WT 101 and WT 101 Jimmie Russell 70th Anniversary.   You can find it in that dedicated thread, in a little while.   Short analysis: the 70th is a real step up from the ordinary WT101.  ...IMHO.

off work this week so I may have a few extra pours than normal. Started this evening off with Still Austin cask strength, then a store pick of BT, and currently on a small pour of Ben Holladay.

I will respectfully decline. I have quite a few PS with your name on it. They’re all delicious! 😋

As Steve Miller used to sing, "Wood's in the kitchen and the cow's in the barn, I'm all cleaned up and my chores are all done."

What he neglected to mention is the Wild Turkey in the glass.  Steve don't know what he's missing.

Well......I'm pretty sure that he was more  of a "midnight toker"

Nice, that one is a couple years old, first generation label.  I remember those little silver tags too.

I bought one that I "*bottled" at Beam, years ago,  but haven't opened yet.  I'm going to have to remedy that soon.

*we rinsed our bottles in a whiskey eyewash, handed them to a worker who put them on the line & we watched them get filled. They would hand them back & we gave them to a guy who dipped them...It was fun.

So I'm in Orange Beach for a very long weekends with the family. I stopped in the 1st liquor store i came across and was immediately hit by severe sticker shock. I could not believe the prices compared to Ohio. This is what I walked out with. Life is good.

Prost!!  Phil

I’m at the National Sporting Clays event in San Antonio this week. I cooked some steaks earlier tonight and now sitting by the fire with a great poor Weller 12 year.

It has been a great few days of shooting so far, I love it here.

Killed a CN-F bottle of WT KS last night.  Store near me still has a few sitting on the shelf, so probably going to do a "Man Down/Next Man Up" situation

If SB had a ❤️ button, I'd hit it for this post!

It reminds me of when I used to shoot in a trap league...

I'm starting the weekend with a pour of MMCS 112.1 proof.

That would be a great start!
