Phil T
I haven't had V17 wheater lately, so I decided to crack a bottle for brunch. So easy drinking, it's a shame its going away.
unclebunk
Grill is warming, steaks are ready to go and the Dixie Dew has been poured. It's been a fabulous day here in Chicago with temps dropping to the mid-seventies and a nice steady breeze. After dinner I'm thinking I'll sit out on the deck with some tunes, a few bottles of Bell's Oberon and a nice tall glass of 2008 WLW to sip on throughout the evening. Should be fun! fishnbowljoe
I had a vacant spot or two on my "open" shelf, so I decided to open a Binny's Weller 12. It's been a long time since I've had one of these open. It still tastes as good as ever. :yum: Cheers! Joe

boss302
If you are trying a sweet bourbon, try adding some mineral water, like Pellegrino, or Saratoga. The saltiness of the mineral water can play off of the sweetness of the bourbon rather well, in the right amounts...
mosugoji64
Kahn's EC12, followed by SB Blend (60/40 - best ratio so far), wrapping up with Kain's OWA. What a delicious night!

hectic1
OWA 1789b #10...spicy on entry followed by some sweetness of caramel and vanilla with some oak undertones to it on the back end. Not bad for just being opened today...I'll come back to it in a couple weeks to see how it's doing! Edited August 14, 2012 by hectic1
