Didn't buy today but after returning from globe hopping I finally was able to pick up my allotment of the 2nd round of HHSS as well as a couple of bottles of the baby size MM cask strength (the bottle on the left seems happy to see me...).

Really looking forward to opening the HHSS!

Today was a good day. In KY on business and took today off to hit some distilleries. Picked up 2 WFEs (11 and 13 yr), 2 Makers Mark Cask Strength, Heaven Hill Select Stock, William Heavenhill, a Heavenhill 6yr BIB, a Four Roses Single Barrel Store Selection, a Four Roses Gift Shop Single Barrel and 2 Four Roses LE Small Batch. And also did a tour at Kentucky Cooperage. Did I mention it was a great day?

Today I bought Blanton, the beige one at 94 proof. It's very good, very consistent to Blanton of years past - no musty taste which is good though. Only thing I notice is, the color is paler than in years past, clearly the bourbon is younger, I'd guess 5 years or so. But still very good.
