Paddy
Cracked a store selection WTKS tonight. Working through the first pour my impressions are favorable. Familiar house style-check, well balanced wood and spice-check, nice nose-check and moderately long finish-check. Easy drinking @ 101p....
JDSmith619
Started with Jeff10yr Rye and it wasn't doing it for me. On my second pour of Larceny and it's hitting the spot
flahute
Working on the Makers 46 again and it seems to be happening for me suddenly. Either proverbial airtime or a palate adjustment has removed the odd sour notes I was getting. I'm going with airtime because I was getting the sour notes on the nose as well and now that's gone. If this trend continues, it's possible this could become a regular given how hard wheaters are to find these days.
BigRich
How is the 2013 OFBB?I dig it. I've enjoyed all the BBs for the last five or six years. They vary a bit year to year but I still think it's some of the best stuff coming out of BF each year. I just wish the price didn't keep going up to reflect that opinion. BFerguson
Today's line up. I've been in the mode of emptying out my open stash and bar. V23 rye and three GTS. Already in my second from left. CheersThree Staggs in a sitting is quite a feat. I like the danger factor in that.Of course, my wife would say the same about my rate of mojitos consumption late night also. A temporary change in latitude for the next couple of days necessitates a brief change in habits. Have to blend in with he locals and such.....B
kcgumbohead
Some 4RGS OBSO my very first GS bottle and an absolute grandslam of a pour. Its nearing the end as I have nursed this bottle a long time. 2 pours left if I am lucky. This will be the most missed when it joins the empties. flahute
I'm enjoying some ER10 right now at work. We have an internship program at the office and we get interns from all over the country and globe. One requirement for their time here is to give a lunchtime presentation about themselves and their work. Lunch is provided by the office for these and most interns pick a menu that reflects their personality. Today's lunch was fried chicken, peach cobbler and bourbon. It's not every day you can have a little bourbon with lunch in the office.

El Vino
Small pour of a private barrel of FR OBSK-11 yr. 6months. 54.5%. Coming to the end of this bottle. With a few drops of water, just a wonderful integration of fruit, leather, wood and sweetness. Glad to have another in the bunker.

BFerguson
Nightcap of some Blantons the other day. It was a nice touch after a full on table side prepped dinner. Cesar salad, streak Diane, and bananas foster for dessert. Fun when the flambé flames scare the diners next to you.B

TunnelTiger
Finished off a handle of some very fine OGDBIB last evening. Debating on whether to open a bottle of EWBIB or OFSig tonight. I can't go wrong with either so I'll probably just open both.

El Vino
Same here. They did 3 (I think) barrel selections in 2014 and that was by far the best one. By the time I opened it, I was only able to go back and get one more.Hopefully they get some more in. They haven't has the PS on the shelf in a few months now. JDSmith619
Had several pours of MM last night. It was a nice reminder that I dont have to spent >$60 for a quality pour.
dcbt
I'm going through another purge lately, finishing off random bottles to make some room. This week I've been going through EW1783. It's a little light at 86 proof, but for $11 it's really hard to argue with it. If they'd just raise the proof to 90, and even charge an extra 50 cents for that, I'd have to consider making this a regular in the rotation.
