I am sorry for your loss. This is a whiskey I am really curious about, but the reality is I'll never get to taste it.

Have buddy that has raved about the poison girl picks he has tried.  Hear the owner of the bar has a great palate.

I have been slowly savoring this bottle for awhile. Sorry to see it go, but on the bright side, more shelf space and I have a backup:-)

Cheers

I truly enjoyed this bottle. It held up from the first pour to the last.   I am a fan of the OESK recipe, so I knew I would like the bottle.  But for me, this bottle surpassed the great OESK bottling's I have sampled.

Med-high viscosity, a myriad of flavors, age detectable on finish (but not drying).

I look forward to opening my backup.  If I get the chance to bunker a bottle, I will definitely pull the trigger.

Cheers

I feel your pain, Gary.     I've heard from a couple folx that this is the greatest bottle of whiskey ever corked.    No personal experience, so I can neither confirm nor deny that assertion.

I'll raise a glasss of THH tomorrow in it's honor, my friend.

Polished this off Friday night. Very solid. Was kinda surprised to see this show up at Wally World a while back. (First I'd seen it locally) Enjoyed it enough to grab more.

Thanks. Seems like from everything I've read people view this bottling as pretty damn good.

Cheers.

"persuaded" the rest of this bottle away from the hotel bartender.

There wasn't much left last night.

Today it meets its end.

:)

Having had it, I can attest to that statement.

It’s quite fine, along with its younger and older brothers.

Greatest bottle of whiskey ever is a bit of a stretch IMO, but it certainly was outstanding!!

Just saw that. Not sure how 12 year ended up as 2 month (though I'm sure some craft joint has a 2 month old bourbon for sale!).
