mbroo5880i
I opened a bottle of OF100. Then I closed it. Then I opened it again. Then I closed it. Then I hoped it again. A pour occurred between each open and close cycle. Each pour = a drink. The end of each drink = another pour. It is the weekend!

Bob_Loblaw
Cracked this one yesterday. A bit hot but all the classic HH brown sugars, burnt caramel and vanilla flavors are there. My friend has had his for about a week and said halfway through the heat tamed down a bit. Packed the bottle along with a mess of samples I’ve amassed and we are headed down to Florida for spring break with the kiddos. Wooo!

Understood. They were pricey, ($118.00 OTD), but I'm glad that I pulled the trigger. I'm a cheap bastard, (and proud of it), and rarely spend that kind of $$ without trying first. After having a pour, I'm glad that I did. If I see it again, I would not hesitate.

I have been looking to complete my collection of all 10 recipes but have been unable to find OBSK. Having trouble locating ANY PS of 4RSiB in and around my area. Thanks! Nope sorry, it's a 10year - 10month OESK. Had a small taste last night and it is at 1st taste, stellar. I'm hoping to grab another before they're gone...

And here I thought the term 'piglets' was just something that somebody here dubbed the little bottles. I didn't know that WP called them that!

Mrs. Skinsfan and I stayed in a cabin, near Fredricksburg, VA and toured the distillery a couple of years ago. We've always like Bowman whiskey and it would have been sacrilege to be so close to the distillery, without checking it out. It was a private tour, because we were the only ones who signed up for the group tour, in the middle of the day during the week., The main reason for taking the tour was to check out the distillery, and to try some whiskey. We weren't expecting much,(because we've visited so many distilleries), but we had a very good time and were pleasantly surprised to run into the Distiller, Brian Prewitt. He was really friendly, and engaging and made the trip worth it. I bought a couple bottles while we were there, and even a bottle of gin, (just in case a gin-drinker visits the house)

I feel the same. I tried a couple different gins at the distillery, and picked the least objectionable one. That bottle hasn't been opened yet. Edd
My son just got back from Okinawa, knows I am big Turkey fan, so he brought me a few 8 YAS Turkey bottles and a couple rare breeds in sleeves. Back of the bottles are written in Japanese which is pretty cool. The 8 year 101 is pretty damn nice.

Wedelstaedt
Opened up this one, earlier. I have had the 1920, but it has been a minute. I remember, enjoying it. This will be my first open bottle of OF 1920. I look forward to checking it out. Cheers
