mbroo5880i
I am on the waiting list at my primary store. Another store (very large chain) told me that first time around they only got 6 bottles for 20 stores. :frown:
HP12
Why is it that every time I see a fresh post in this thread, I get an urge for a pour of ECBP? Doesn't happen with any other expression except this one. Geez.

NWBourbonDrinker
Sippin on a little of this tonight. Anybody else get seriously burnt sugar when they taste? It isn't bitter at all but it goes beyond the typical caramelized sugar that you get on creme brule and into the realm of truly burnt. I really think this stuff came from heavily charred barrels. smknjoe
The wood influence is VERY noticeable, but nice.

Lots of Cherry and Nugget as well.

Lots of Cherry and Nugget as well.I agree with the burnt sugar comment (only speaking for my 134 though) as it is in the most positive way without being bitter or acrid. There is another review floating about in comparison to GTS Jr that really draws out the quality of this ECBP. His review is not kind on the finish of the ECBP but I do not think I agree. I am going to sample some more tonight and see if I can taste the same notes. It is absolutely great to see a BP, high quality, bourbon with known origin at this price point. Could it be considered the anti-thesis or the planned scarcity surrounding some of the NDP offerings?

GaryT
I keep thinking there is none to be had around . . . and then read posts a day or two later about it turning up in Cumming, or Kennesaw, or Smyrna . . . :hot: Then . . . I look in the cabinet to see at least one behind my open one, and feel a sense of relief
