MtnDew
Don't know where you heard that. Yes, MSRP on BTAC and PVW 15 should both be close to $80 this year. The store in KY where my coworker picked me up a bottle of WLW 2013 charged $69.99.... it was a beautiful thing! That same bottle, if/when it makes up to WA, will be in the $110 range after distributors and taxes and that does not include any markup form the retailer themselves... ugh. And Speaking of that they brought it to work today, along with an EH Taylor Rye, so now I have both in my possession. Time to hunt for a Stagg Sr and ER 17. smknjoe
Good to know that BTAC is where it should be price wise. Enjoy that WLW and good luck hunting that buck!

rndenks
I picked up an EWSB that I shared with friends at get together over the weekend. I scored a bottle of OFBB 13 last night. I also had a friend at TPS this weekend pick me up a E.H. Taylor Barrel Proof. Looking forward to trying the OFBB and EHT BP later this week or this weekend. Tony Santana
Picked up a SA VOS (19 yrs) last night. About $10 cheaper than what I've seen it priced at other spots. I really like that stuff. EH Taylor Barrel Proof coming my way tomorrow, a buddy picked it up for me.
PaulO
I did a little hunting yesterday and found Old Forester Signature (old label) x 2, and a lonely single bottle of Sazerac Rye. I haven't seen Saz for quite some time. I had a dram of the OF when I got home. It was excellent, very dark colored. It has that pecan pie flavor, and thick mouth feel.

Tony Santana
Super jealous of this pick up. Very nice find.I've seen some of the pictures of your stash, Yeti, so I'll take that as high praise. I'm assuming you're referring to the SA VOS. When I bought my first bottle, it was the most I'd spent on one. I've since surpassed that on more than one occasion, but I don't know that I have anything that tastes better, at least not to my palate. Now I find some - for less money - almost by accident. I left 3 more bottles just sitting on the shelf, but I may have to return.
MtnDew
So I went in today to talk to a local liquor store manager about the BTAC with every intention of not buying anything for fear of my wife divorcing me, you can see how well I stuck to that! At least that Campfire is a gift for her (she loves smokey whiskeys) so I hope that will help smooth things over. The Ritt is even the old version which will go nicely with my two bottles of the new HH made rye.
OscarV
I picked up 3 bottles of the 2013 Four Roses Small Batch Limited Edition today. But they weren't cheap. Oh well, a Wise man once said,.... ....Bourbon will get you thru time of no money better than money will get you thru times of no bourbon.

suntour
They just got a few cases of barrel-select Buffalo Trace at my local store which has had tremendous Blanton's and Eagle Rare barrels in the past...been avoiding it and thinking about it, and gave in today. Well, the streak continues. It is an extremely good barrel. Honey all over the place.

It does not have the "125th Anniversary" thing on the front and looks more like the 2012 version.
smknjoe
Good catch! It sure does look like an earlier release in the front there Oscar. Edited October 16, 2013 by smknjoe Spelling

I put one on my 4R display to get it fitted in and then grabbed the wrong bottle for the pic. Here's the 3 little beauties together.
