Eskwar
Finished off the last few pours of my WT80 brown label. Makes me think of the Obama "Not Bad" meme. A kind fellow Texan SBer brought some of WT 80 to our DFW tasting last month, and it was surprisingly good. Not sure what year it was, but it's a nice way to wind down after an evening of higher-proof tastings. On topic, I had a productive weekend... The Classic 90 was bottled ~ 7 months before my first-grader was born, while the (also Not Bad) 101 was bottled mid '09, making me wonder if that stuff is still in production. tigerlam92
Wow, you made it through that bottle quick! What'd you think? The orphan barrel will be very polarizing, some like it and other may not. There's a thread in the premium section bundle with Old Blowhard. I like it and think it is reasonably price for me at the current market. It's a nice pour perhaps slightly thin. I prefer the Old Blowhard a tiny bit more. A tiny bit of water will help. I like both and have some bunkered and will continue to drink through them. Taking the marketing approach aside it's a fine offering. These are something one will have to try to see.

I've read that Old Blowhard is quite woody, which is giving me pause. I'm trying to track down a sample/a bar that has some before committing to a full bottle. LCWoody
I finished off a bottle of EHT BP. I like this bourbon, it is a little hot up front, but I did enjoy blending it with EHT SmB and EHT SB.
horn1602
Ridgemont 1792 store select ran dry last night. Not too my tastes, so doubt I'll replace it. Haven't decided what to replace it with yet.
Eskwar
Hit the bin this AM. Strong and flavorful enough for Old Fashioneds on these warm DFW spring evenings; tasty enough to enjoy neat and compare to VOB BIB. That was $20 well spent. Tony Santana
Farewell, Bourye. Opened it for a one night cold weather camping trip in November (I think the label says it's best enjoyed around a campfire), shared it with a couple friends at a holiday season sampling, a few pours over the last week. It served me well. Third dead soldier in three weeks and only one has been opened since then, so the open bottle list is slightly more manageable. suntour
Threw away a bottle of Booker's 25th today, my dad and I did some serious work on it over the weekend and I poured three last delicious fingers of it this afternoon. Sad to see it go, but didn't like it enough to get the last two on the shelf (sheerly out of QPR considerations) Its a good drink even if you don't like Booker's normally.
