Out in the garage listening to the Braves on the radio with a Green Flash WC IPA, and patiently waiting for my mule to make a delivery.

Back-to-back Chillwaves tonight. One for pre-dinner and one with dinner. Perhaps even another after dinner.

Either way, it's time to re-stock. Rations are getting low.

Classic Saison by Blackberry Farm Brewery, one of the beers made at the uber swanky Tennessee resort and have recently appeared at a few Atlanta stores.

Enjoying a Black Market Liberation IPA tonight. It's not a citrus bomb like others I've had lately, but it's darned good!

(And yes, I'm still alive. The new job is making it difficult to stay active here. )

How was it? Not sure I buy the hype but of course that didn't stop me from getting a couple!

I've now been through all three. None of them blew me away. In fact they were all fairly ordinary.

Yeah, I was kind of afraid that might be the case. Live and learn!

Downed my last bomber of Guinness Foreign Extra Stout last night and followed it with a pair of Bells Double Cream Stouts. Delicious beer paired with some dark rum and a few squares of Belgian dark chocolate. I think you're getting the theme, right?

Blakkr Imperial Black Ale from 3F, Surly and Real Ale. The call it a DIPA on the label. Whatever it is it's an ass kicker.

Relaxing back after a short warm up run, and then some hill work on the bike, with a Terrapin Recreation Ale...apropos, huh? :D. Actually, it felt more like work, and my thighs are screaming and I'm now just hoping I don't cramp and fall down the aisle tonight at the game... "Get up ya drunk!!!" "Sir, we're going ask you to leave, and escort you to the exit." But, but, you don't understand...it's just that I cycled a...."

It's a good one. I have one left. One of the breweries sells their version in cans. That would be nifty.

Stayed up a little too late last night while arguing with a friend.

Bourbon Barrel Stout night - KBS and Black Note! Never had the Black Note until tonight. While very good, I like the KBS better.

Tasted through some stouts last night. KBS '13 and '14, BCBS '09, '12 and '13, Central Waters BBS '13, and Dragon's Milk. BoCo wins by a mile.

A 3 Taverns "A Night in Belgium" described as a Belgian style American IPA while out for dinner at D.B.A.

Not usually a big IPA fan but this one was pretty good as the hops did not overwhelm it.
